If Phillips comes under the same loan details ! That has to be a good deal.No way we would take him if not fit.A stiff medical is key ! Passes that and we have a quality player at a cut price.
Kyle Walker will be similar wages we can afford on the back of a regerous medical .if true to bring in them two really says the owners are are backing Wilder.

one guy who's done nowt for a few seasons and another at the fag end of his career, both of whom will command hefty wages. Not the player profiles I think we should be looking at, but to each their own I suppose

Phillips deal would have to be similar to the one we have now.
Walker has said it's not about money , so it really revolves around fitness and the hunger to be winners! We have to trust Wilder to get it right.

on the basis of the two previous home matches my ITK confirm that
The manager picks the wrong team, then makes the wrong substitutions
We have no set tactics other than rely on individual moments of inspiration
We waste too much time getting the ball forward that by the time it reaches the opposition box their defenders have deck chairs out.
We pass the ball left to right and then right to left in front of the opposition that is exactly what they want
Our defenders whilst individually lacking, seemingly have no organisation.
With the exception of Sydie Peck no one wants to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

Walker would need to tear up his Burnley contract for it to be a possibility surely
Keep seeing people say that he's got a clause in his Burnley deal that lets him leave for free if Burnley got relegated.

Same thing that Mcburnie had with that LALIGA club last season when they finished bottom (can't remember who it was).

i do wonder if we scout at all. as it feels like we do this purely on reputation. i was thinking how did swansea know that vipononik was available on a free from bordeaux & we had never heard of him
Do we scout before hiring ?
The answer lies in :
Gbric
Cannon
Shackleton
Chong
McGuiness
Ben Godfrey
......
I daren't list any more , for fear of ruining my Sunday

i fully agree. its alot of buying players because we heard they are good or were good & not because they might fit the way they play

Just throwing the names I’ve heard about earlier today (hopefully absolute nonsense but you never know).

Phillips back on loan, Hamza and Souttar back, Souza back. Heard it from someone who’s “good friends with someone at the top”.

Hoping it’s absolute nonsense myself, Souza is literally the only one I’d be moderately interested in, however I’d have hoped we’d actually do some actual scouting rather than looking back at the previous page in the book.
You are being watched for signs of BS 👀

I understand the love for Souttar coming back it was nice while it happened but if were persevering with Tanganga we HAVE to get a new CB with pace.
Tanganga and Souttar would be agonising.

I can get on the excitement of Kyle Walker on the right of a back three.

I said at the match on Saturday - i don't think next seasons captain is even at the club yet. I think he's at Burnley haha

Can’t think why we would attempt to get Souza, Hamza AND Phillips. What are we going to do? Defend our way to promotion!?

Maybe one of them.
Although I don't think we will go after all 3 and maybe only 1 if we do, on that note if we did more defending this year we could have been up there. Burnley defended their way to Promotion last season and were good at it. Got some stick for it but "Parker ball" did a good job in this division. We did the same under Hecky's promotion although helped out by N'Diaye masterclasses, we were defensively solid losing only 9 all season in the league with the largest margin of loss being by 2 goals.
