The commentator was right... doesn’t get any easier than Fulham... and we set up to lose! Was heartbreaking to watch. We didn’t even try to play any football till we went 1 nil down. I just don’t understand it!

I do. When you play Lundstram in MF you fail to go from defence to attack quickly. He doesn’t play on the half turn, and plays backwards because he has no faith in his ability to take it forward. I’ve been saying this for weeks and months. He stifles us so much, he’s awful as a MF.

We have a ridiculous amount of injuries... but that doesn’t mean you should set up to lose. We actually troubled them when we tried to be inventive. That’s the point. Setting up so negatively, with zero endeavour, has never been a winning formula. If we’ve gone to Fulham hoping for a 0-0 then we deserve everything we get!

Football is all about momentum. I think you’re right, Fulham sat back... when they didn’t need to. But let’s give them something to think about. They’re fighting for their lives. But... like Newcastle did with us... we gave them nothing to question. I’m certain we could’ve got something from that game with a more positive approach. I’m also certain that we made it far too easy for them by letting them dictate the game. Tbh I feel sorry for the lads. Imagine being told to approach the game in that manner. It’s soul destroying. Imagine being told you can’t even go a give Fulham a game. It’s totally the wrong message to send
