2 from three with Clark. Basham and Clark. Though you could be really ruthless and drop Egan who hasn't been good in pre-season and play Basham, Ahmedhodžić and Clark as your three!

He's probably at a point, with Ahmedhodžić and Clark that his place is less secure than it has ever been.

Yes he's in my XI but that doesn't mean he should be playing regardless how bad his form may be.

RND may be the best shout for this game actually.

Ended the season decently and was very strong at Forest

Then JLT should start too on individual merit but also to maintain a stable LCB/LWB pairing in what is a hard game against opponents with quality out wide. Wish they'd hurry up and sell Sarr and Dennis

Anel needs a bit more time to adjust to the system etc but looks a real talent. Jebbison been running his socks off, just think the Watford game would more suited to him than Brewster. Osborn arguably been best player this pre-season. Fleck been poor. Billy would be in the squad but not sure if he’ll be available

I would swop Brewster for Jebbison, other than that it looks good

At the moment, I see us anywhere from 5-10th.
That's based on keeping the current squad together and somehow keeping our key players fit for the majority.

I don't see this squad as having enough goals in it to seriously mount an automatic promotion challenge.
Khadra would help, but we need another striker. It would take someone of the stature of Keinan Davis to come in to convince me that we have top 2 credentials.

We've not defended well in preseason, but we do look stronger (depth wise, at least) at the back.
Midfield looks OK, but MGW leaves a huge unfillable void.

Agree on Davis. Sign him or an equivalent and we'll be top 2, very confident. Even with what I consider an average manager

Top 6 regardless though, whether we sell Berge and reinvest or keep him
