Issac Romero

The immediate future of Isaac Romero may be far from Nervión. Ipswich Town and Sheffield United go for the Sevilla striker. The two Championship clubs have the Lebrijano on their roadmap despite his discreet last season, an exercise weighed down by the lack of assets above in which he did not meet expectations after breaking in strongly the previous year as a partner of En-Nesyri.

The quarry is being a protagonist in the start of the Sevillian market in terms of possible exits. While Juanlu Sánchez's transfer to Naples is slow, now it's Isaac's turn. This preseason has not started in a better way for the player, who has not seen a goal in the first two friendlies played against Birmingham and Sunderland, and last Tuesday suffered a slight sprain in the internal lateral ligament of his left knee in training.

Been racking my brain, but have we somehow never had a Spanish player?

Weird innit?

Google/AI suggest Selles & Grbic. One of which isn’t a player and the other is about as Croatian as you get.

I'd be worried about him having another discreet season.

Sounds too much like Dean Hammond's unseen work.

Could be the benefit of having a Spanish manager. Actually attracting Spanish players. Can never have enough Spaniards in your squad these days.

We signed Jesus Seba from Wigan in 1996 for 150k.

Not best highlight reel I’ve seen and opposition didn’t look great. Wonder what level he’s playing at.
That video looks like was made prior to him starting 29 La Liga games this past season so I believe the competition will have been lower level Spanish sides v Sevilla dev teams
