Really? We have lost 16 games with Wilder, top two teams don't lose half that.
Be prepared for him bringing in a load of older players with question marks over their fitness or needing to resurrect their failing careers. He never did like young upcoming players he never wanted Sander Berge and certainly Iliman Ndiaye would have never got a look in Hecky was much better with the youth.
He wasn’t here from the start of the season and through the summer though was he? Or maybe I missed that…I only saw a shambolic summer following an exceptional season last season with only Leeds and Burnley having incredible seasons points wise

Our tally from last season despite losing a lot as well, would it have been enough to take us up auto this season?

Bornablade.
Yes, you are correct about the attendances
,I should have said 15,000 before Chris Wilder arrived.
Thanks for rightly correcting me.

Last sub 15k average was 2000. Never dropped below 17200 after that. The average before he arrived was 19800

Badly phrased question.
He is a LENGENDARY manager in the sense he is BY FAR THE WORST
THE most DESTRUCTIVE in our entire history
I voted 'he never was one'.
He was disastrous from day one
I was unsure/confused when he objected and cancelled the contract offered to George Long
Hardly 'my word is my bond, you can trust me not to **** you my players'
and he throws them under then bus at every opportunity.
He then sold Che Adams for £2 million not £5m
And THE FINAL STRAW for me was the giveaway of DCL
Unsworth said it was much less than the fee reported
a pitiful £800K for a young player who went almost straight into the first team at Prem Everton
Scored the only goal in a WC U-20 final win
and became an England CF.
And so the insanity has continued throughout.
Today alone we have it confirmed as we all know that it was him who stupidly decided to waste MVP Brooks in this insane RW position.

This club is being further destroyed every week this imbecile stays
We are ******
Soon the damage will be irrevocable
We will be in the same position as Wendy were this.

Legend can be negative if used in a sarcastic manner which nothing about the question indicated it was. The sarcastic tone tends to be a tool of our extremist anti-wilder fans but I have no idea if that applies to you. Hope you feel better after the rant. I feels his time has come and gone and we should move on but I also voted that he is a legend. Very little in this world is black or white in it’s entirety.

Your opinion again is wonderful.

You’ve mentioned DCL previously, so I’ll bite.

You may have a short memory, or perhaps ignorance. Others have used this argument in the past, perhaps more succinctly than you. But here we are.

At the time we needed to wheel and deal. We most certainly sold DCL, Ramsdale (first time) and later Brooks, for below their value. We took what we could in order to be able to then bring several other players and allow us to move the club forwards

As a result of those sales we invested in other players and we achieved promotion from league one to the Premier league.

I think on those points your argument is killed. Work harder on the other areas of your argument and you might have more joy

This is a joke right!? 😂

Great its a public vote. Trying to decide who's more pathetic, the ones who voted he never was or the ones voting only for the first spell. Both are very pathetic.

Of course, there are many who regard you as very pathetic. But it’s all about opinions, innit.
There is one thing that really pees me off is how scruffy he is unshaven looking a bit rough when he does the pre match presser if he looks like that during training etc then surely he won't command a lot of respect from the players it all comes down to self pride and if you haven't got that then you are fighting a losing battle

Yep. It's the latter obviously. The others are probably just pigs. You lot are actually serious
Yep, we have developed our critical faculties and possess opinions. It doesn’t matter one jot what you think of them.

There are Wilder supporters who add to a reasoned debate. They are clearly Blades of long standing who love the club. The likes of I should coco, Slim Man Dkc and quite a few others, who I often disagree with but who I respect.

Then there is the very small number of others who add fuck all and for whom I reserve the laughing emoji.

Now bore off, there’s a good boy.

You replied to me fella.

I'm not really bothered which posters you respect. Having your respect isnt impressive to me as astonishing as you may find that to comprehend.

Calling fellow Blades pigs because they don’t agree with your opinions. You’re not much of a Blade. There is more than a whiff of bacon around that. Plenty on here know for a fact that I’m a Blade. Less so with you.

Well no for claiming Chris Wilder isn't a United legend. Even you've had to begrudgingly give him that.

We're obviously both Blades.

So you’re bizarrely excluding the ones who voted ‘never was’, ‘sack the c*nt’, ‘not yet’?

And the opinion of people on this forum is in no way reflective of what Blades fans think?

Have I got that right?
Its absolutely no way reflective of how the majority of actual fans think no. It's completely unhinged on here when it comes to Wilder

I don’t get why you can just dismiss it as a distortion of what people are feeling though? Naturally you’ll encounter more passionate views online where people feel protected by anonymity but that doesn’t mean it’s not coming from a genuine place from real fans.

Personally, I think what he did in his first term was legendary and always will be, but it was a while ago now and several stints later that legacy is gradually becoming more and more tainted, which is just a real shame. If that makes me ‘pathetic’ then so be it.

Yes 51% of the fanbase is pathetic. Grow up.

It's 43% of this forum Einstein

And the opinion of people on this forum is in no way reflective of what Blades fans think?

It may surprise one or two, but life does not revolve around this forum (Soz Linz & Foxy). A few hundred posters at best, post regularly and by definition, wr are a self selected bunch of opinionated people.
We are NOT statistically representative of the fan base, and I know plenty who have never even heard of S24SU.

Carry on arguing, and I'll have my two penneth too, but let's not convince our selves that we are representative in any serious way.

I’ve hated this season and team but he’ll get it right next season. That doesn’t necessarily mean promotion, but it’ll be a team that reflects the work ethic we expect.

When Wilder has carried our pre season and summer recruitment he’s only ever got it wrong once and it was Covid with no fans.

Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt and back the team

It's more the wording of the voting option and then picking it. It's just petty and needless. Its like making a point every time of saying Brian Deane is ONLY a legend up to 1994. Unless you dislike Brian Deane I dont think anyone would ever do that.

Obviously Wilder is a legend he gave us one of the best spells ever. I think it's pretty pathetic to feel the need to caveat that to diminish it which this clearly is. Not aimed at you directly, that was my point.

Hopefully we get a day off the Wilder bashing if we hold onto this result.

Hope he self-reflects on the mistakes made this season. Can't have another season of washed up, unfit players playing 4-4-2 like it's 2003.
