Is this season the best chance of a cup

I realise that all the talk is about playing in the premier league, understandably so, but I've supported United all my life and been going regularly since 1975 and this squad is the most talented squad we've ever had full of quality, we could pick a team from the 11 that doesn't start against Bournemouth and I think that team would do well in the championship. So I'm also looking forward to the cup competitions this year as I believe we could go deep into both of them this year, I know we've done pretty well in them the last 20 years or so but I never went into those seasons that we did well in with much hope as I have this season

If we do, then great. But I’ll be happy to go out in the first round of both if it improves the chances of staying up. Lets have a go for a cup once we’re established in the PL.

League cup for squad players.

FA cup, give it a go if we have a great first half of the season. If we're in the middle of a relegation scrap then squad players for that as well.

If we have more than 30 points at Xmas then lets go for it otherwise F#ck the cups. Wigan won it and went down same season. Establishing ourselves in the PL and sticking the rods up at the doubters is more important. Having said that we have made the semis on a number of occasions with worse sides than our current second eleven.
