Well has Blackie finished with the transfer market this time round both in and out ? cause if he has what was all the bollox about QUALITY not QUANTITY ?
 



So far what we have got is quality (don't need caps to make a point), and he is clearly still looking. If Hendrie maintains his form targets mights change, but we already have too many players. Paying the current wage bill may be more than it's worth!
 
You list the QUALITY, then i'll list the QUANTITY............the one who names the least buys the beer !

That Henderson looks a reight waste of money, how much a week is he gettin ?

The only player who can be classed as a quality player by right that we have brought in is David Cotterill.

we need a new left winger & Attacking midfielder A.S.A.P and that is a fact!!

IMO Ben Watson would be a great buy is available for 2m he is probably one of the best young Attacking midfielders in the league and if i was Blackie i would be on the phone in an instant.

Henderson is still playing with an injury incase ya didn't know. Not a major injury, but an injury's and injury.

Killa is the best at BDTBL followed by BT the rest............mmmmmmm........the vast majority fall into QUANTITY.

That Spring bloke might be alreight ?

Well your not, so leave the signings to him. I'm sure something will happen sooner or later. But after last night i'm not sure we have to bring anyone in just for the sake of it.

And who's to say Watson would come, and to a championship rival
 
Jihai and Halford plus those previously named are all quality, all have been positive additions to the team. You can't survive in this league without quality players and I think it is clear we are going to do well. We are not Man U, we are Sheff U and we have one of the best squads in the Championship.
 
Quality - BT, Hendrie (when in mood) Coterill, Killa, Jihai, Halford, Webber (when fit)

The rest hmmmm. But thats still not bad imo!

I think its high time Blackwell shipped a few more squad players out to get the wage bill down & give him some space in the market.

Cant rate Jihai and Halford on one game so il wait and see

Watson might not like the deal we offer him, he might not want to be sold to us, Your not off little britain so you cant go around saying " i want that one" and get them.

Ours squad for me has quality there. It also has average players for cover and to make up the squad. Im happy with the team. Hendrie can play left wing as shown last night.

Relish played last night through injury for fitness as it was only a cup game.
 
Tonge needs another club for sure.
Ben Watson would be a great addition to the squad, but hey that would take ambition so forget it !

I agree Tonge should move.

But who says Watson would come?

He may not want a move north......they are not sat on a shelf waiting to be bought.

Unless you know better.

Same owd story show the reight ambition the players would come.
Rumour that Stead is wanted by Palace, £1million plus Watson and i say let them have him :D

Agree to a certain extent but it's not that easy is it?

They may have family or kids to consider, schools etc.

I've had chances to move for more cash but I've stayed in Sheffield for other reasons.

Why should football players be different??
