All our players are for sale to the right offer, always have, always will, but that doesn't mean that it is our priority to sell young players. Good for Slew to get his career fully underway. I hope he starts to make an impact on the first team...

Looks like they will have to keep Slew for a while ,with the chances of getting in a loan striker blown out of the water with Morgan doing in his medial collateral ligament.They will be in the loan market for a centerback with Morgan gone for months if not the season.

No but the truth at SUFC is rarely a humour based product. Unless David Brent Enterprises thought it might add a revenue stream and concentrate centricity around our client demographic.

Cannot see Slew getting much of a chance unless Speed changes to 4-4-2.
That's the other bollocks about 4-5-1 - you have to play an experienced striker up there as you cannot rely on a young pup. 4-4-2 allows the youngster to learn from the older and more experienced pro. The best teams have a striking pair that almost have a telepathic understanding of where they should be in relation to each other. I fear Slew may never reach his potential because if Speed insists on persevering with 4-5-1 how is he ever going ot get a run in the team? - At best he will have a 10 minute cameo from the bench (probably when were are 0-1 down and chasing a game_ and play most of his full games in the ressys.
4-5-1 = boring, negative tripe. If you don't have world class players to play it properly then it's a football snob formation for those who think they are purists but in fact all they are is another follower of the latest fashion. Play in the opposition half of the pitch. Play positively to get results. Give players a chance to play within their capabilites. Give them a role to play that they understand and feel certain they can achieve and manage the f**king team not your pet formation FFS.
