Plays like that every week, we will not miss Coutts.

Simply brilliant.

Title meant to say If*

We’ll always miss Coutts but Lunny’s getting into it a bit now...quicker passing/moving the ball and covering the ground, breaking play up.

He’s a different type of player.
Good game from the lad.

Seems to be growing in confidence rapidly.

Basham gives me the willies every time he plays in midfield. Fine for most of the time when they have the ball but will suddenly sprint 20 yards for an interception that isn’t on and leave us wide open. He also has the habit of receiving the ball with “what the fuck is this?” Look on his face

Easily his best game for United, I thought he was decent against Bristol too.

Been saying it all along, you can see the talent he's got. Made one or two errors again today where he tried to do something clever when the easy ball would've been more than good enough but overall I thought he had a cracking game. He's being asked to fill a role that Coutts and Fleck make look far easier than it is and he's growing into it.

I prefer the "Is Lundstram" title.......so, is Lundstram having a chuckle at Oxfords result.?

Doesn't play the exact same role as Coutts but you can see him growing.

Get Fleck back and hopefully strengthen in January, and we can look to pick up.

Best game he had today, will continue to get better as the season progresses, and hopefully we can have a long run of game with him, Fleck and Duffy together.

He seems like he'd be better playing more like Fleck than Coutts imo but he's got to fill the gap where it is.

I’m going to be ultra positive here and suggest that the silver lining of Flecks suspension (as well as him being fully rested) is that its given Lundstram 3 games to be “the man” in there. Hopefully its boosting his confidence and helping bring out the best of him. He’s certainly stepping up to the plate.

Lundstrom was excellent today

Really impressed

The important thing tho is to keep it up............consistency similar to Coutts being the order of the day

His best game, still makes some mistakes but is young and growing into Championship football. Well done.

We’ve got to miss a player like Coutts no matter who replaces him, but Lundstram is getting better every game and made a massive contribution tonight.

I think he can kick on and get even better, in fact the whole team can after this result. A win on Tuesday and then a few new players in and we can get right back on track in January. UTB.

Lundstram was really good tonight. Looked the best player on the pitch

I've slagged him off in the past but thankfully he's making me look a bit foolish.

Keep it up lunny a fine performance and a cracking assist,

Echo all that’s said, he was fantastic today and was my MOM. I doubted him at first but I was wrong we’ve got a proper player there.

Man of the Match for me, with Donaldson a close second.

Trust Wilder?

Yes I do. He said he was a good player. And I can attest to the fact that if you haven’t played games at full tilt, it takes a few to get up to speed with fitness, sharpness and touch.
Maybe he’s now getting closer to his best

He was quicker with the ball but he also has a great passing range. And with Donaldson in the side it gives us something quite different.

like most players under this fantastic management team he's improving rapidly and showing just why they bought him.
