• They've not graced the top division for 26 years
• Relegated at their main rival when they only had 10 men for half of the game
• 1 win all season
• Completely stunk out the Championship
• Oh, and they smell

• We have more wins H2H
• We've done the double double over them
• Far better stadium, squad, academy, recruitment and fan base.

They're not keeping up their end of the bargain.

It's time for them to fuck off down to the lower leagues. We'll find someone else.

It is bizarre that most of their fanbase have this strong desire to perceived as “big”.
The number of times they ring up Radio Sheffield and constantly talk about attendances, notice how they always round up their home attendance to the nearest 5K.
So they call 22,476 a 25,000 gate and they call 28,145 a 30,000 gate. Even the administrator said he is reducing ticket prices and hoping for 30,000 average attendances for the rest of the season. This wasn’t even challenged by the presenter, recent matches gates have been down 12K to 15K actually at matches.

We’ve had better home support for a while now….so their excuse is 1000’s are boycotting home matches.
Then when that won’t wash…..they then say….”home support doesn’t matter…..it’s now all about away numbers”.

Then you have weird posts that they tell each other like

‘I know loads of Arsenal and Spurs fans in London and they all really like us and are desperate to see Sheff Wed in the top flight”.
Then there’s the “everytime I go abroad I mention I’m from Sheffield and they always ask if I support Sheffield Wednesday then mention Sheridan and Hirst” and there also the “every where you go everyone seems to like Sheff Wed and they tell us Sheff Wed were the best fans they’ve had at their ground in the last 20 years”.

They must be one of the most insecure fanbases in England….so desperate to be liked and be considered “big” by neutrals.

I even tell Wednesday fans they are a big club with good support….but when I mention that since 1960 they’ve seen loads of success.
Challenging for the league title in the early 60’s and early 90’s. Been in cup finals in 1966, 1991 and 1993 twice.
Yet in those 65 years….incredibly they’ve only averaged over 30K twice….in 1967 (30,219) and 1968 (31,461).

When I mention this fact to Wednesday fans they almost start crying and keep repeating “that’s a lie because I’ve been told we are massive”.

I think one of the home games the BBC actually reported the number of fans inside the dump and it was 7,500. They quickly reverted to count non attending Season ticket holders to suggest a respectable 22k. Even the BBC are at it ................................wow. But then when do you ever believe the BBC

It is Leeds by a mile. We’ve been neck and neck with them for quite a while in the Championship always battling for the top 2/promotion and they think they own Yorkshire when they don’t. Except for Wednesday, Leeds are easily our biggest rivals. We hate them and they hate us.

When i told him I was a blade, his first question was "do you go?", as if the city is full of glory hunting blades turning up for the Wembley trips only. Then I had to endure 1/2 an hour being told how great last year was, " the fans were amazing all season". I finally snapped in the 19th hole when we met his pal and they started on about a global fan base.

I said something about how Wednesday were one of the worlds biggest clubs and to be fair to him, he started going on about seeing Blades shirts all over the place on his travels.

It's a very odd phenomenon. What do they get out of the delusion?

The Pigs are there to be hated, regardless of who you support you should hate everything about that club. The owners, the players, the fans, even the unpaid cleaning ladies. As institutions go, that shithouse outfit has so much to hate about it I don't know how anyone could think differently.

As to a new rival, wot chu talkin 'bout Willis? Whoever we play is the enemy, they're trying to take points off us, finish higher than us so why not hate them all equally? I don't have a second club, don't have any affinity for any other team apart from maybe whoever's playing the grunters on any given day. Other than that they're all our rivals and therefore, all should be hated.
