• Far better stadium, squad, academy, recruitment and fan base.

They're not keeping up their end of the bargain.

It's time for them to fuck off down to the lower leagues. We'll find someone else.

I saw an informative thread on their site about the impact of the Boxing Day game. I’d argue that the 4-2 pendulum swing was just as significant, plus it was 4 goals away, if not the same margin. They has seen plucky United lord it over them for a decade and it isn’t swinging back soon.

Yesterday rather than being built up to be anything was simply taking them out back and putting them down in mercy. The tone of Wilder’s interview probably said as much. Sad in a sense that the Sheffield derby could be gone off the calendar for a few years now.

This wasn’t even challenged by the presenter, recent matches gates have been down 12K to 15K actually at matches.

We’ve had better home support for a while now….so their excuse is 1000’s are boycotting home matches.
Then when that won’t wash…..they then say….”home support doesn’t matter…..it’s now all about away numbers”.

Then you have weird posts that they tell each other like

‘I know loads of Arsenal and Spurs fans in London and they all really like us and are desperate to see Sheff Wed in the top flight”.
Then there’s the “everytime I go abroad I mention I’m from Sheffield and they always ask if I support Sheffield Wednesday then mention Sheridan and Hirst” and there also the “every where you go everyone seems to like Sheff Wed and they tell us Sheff Wed were the best fans they’ve had at their ground in the last 20 years”.

They must be one of the most insecure fanbases in England….so desperate to be liked and be considered “big” by neutrals.

I even tell Wednesday fans they are a big club with good support….but when I mention that since 1960 they’ve seen loads of success.

All of this is true, but even if they are stuck in L1 for the next 50 years are we are always above them, they will still spout the same old shite.

NKT is imo a major cause of this delusion of grandure, and is a virus ridden cesspit - once entered, then there's no escape. There are no external fans allowed to comment against their directive. If they do, they are booted. It's just a weird cult like scenario.
