I think Jamal has done a grand job so far but last Saturday I got the feeling his inexperience is beginning to show.
Grate with high balls but some very poor judgements in other areas including the goal, so for me if Moore is fit I think it's time to bring him back....

FFS!

Jamal has done well, but Moore is a better keeper and is OUR player unlike Blackman. I wouldn't chuck Moore straight in at hillsborough, but would certainly put him in when he's 100% fit

Same go for Duffy ,Freeman ,Stevens ,Fleck , Bash ,O'Connell, Coutts ,all have played better this season and have replacements. Blackman did nothing wrong on Saturday and it would be a bad decision to take him out.

From my point of view the jury is still out on Jamal, but in truth I still can't put my finger on why. The only thing I can think of is the fact that he seems to have a sort of lazy attitude to shots bloody close to his posts. Either he has superb and unerring judgment or he feels he can't get down full stretch quickly. As for the goal on Saturday, from my view in the South Stand that came down my side and (apart from the fuck up by Enda and Jack), the Norwich kid did well and I was surprised at the speed of the shot. It's not often I will defend a keeper, but I wouldn't have saved that. WDTTNL.

Big Game. Unusually for me I'd keep him in. I never thought I would think that but I don't think he'll freeze.

Moore had a good game today with the 23s. We lost 1 nil but he had some good stops. He had a bit of luck on his side as well with 3 shots hitting his posts and bar. Nice decision for the manager but his 1 and 2

Sandy I must have been at a different match mate. I honesty didn't think the lad did anything wrong and personally I wouldn't change a thing right now.

I think he's getting more confident with every game and 5 Championship wins in 8 and 2 clean sheets with him in goal say says everything, I like Moore, but the thought of him playing his first competitive game since May at the Sty and after a bad injury brings me out in a cold sweat. Fortunately I'm pretty sure it would Wilder too.

Ive got to ask how you think Blackman's "poor" judgement lead to the goal? What could he have done better? Or even different to stop that goal?

I don't believe he is perfect but as others have said its his shirt. Hes made good saves and done more than enough to cement his position for the time being - including at the sty.

It's tempting. Any other game and I'd say keep Blackman in, but this is a unique game where experience and communication could be key, so if Moore's 100% fit it would be tempting to play him. The issue would be what to do after that, because Blackman hasn't done anything to deserve being dropped, but it would be bizarre to play Moore for one game then bring him back in.

I expect Blackman to start but although he's done quite well for us, I'm not convinced he's completely reliable for a game like this.

No keeper in the world would have stopped that goal, if there was any blame on any player it was probably O'Connell and even then that would be somewhat unfair as it was a very good counter attack, about the only good positive thing Norwich did.

Until Blackman starts costing us goals I would leave him where he is.

Either keeper will be fine ,they are the ones that should be worried with their keeper dropping clangers since the beginning of the season. He hasn't been the same since Huddersfield made him look like Swiss cheese in the penalty shootout.

Why do we have to wait for Blackman to drop a clanger before we bring Moore back in? He was signed as cover, Moore's now fit so there shouldn't even be a discussion.

Disagree ,100% Stevens fault.

Of all the issues we currently have, I'm pretty sure the GK position doesn't even enter his thinking.

This isn't Championship Manager....

For me, if Blackman's fit he plays. He's played games, developed an understanding with the defence, but it should do him good knowing a solid keeper like Moore is snapping at his heels.

Jamal Blackman is a good goalkeeper and I'm certainly confident having him in the team.

But Moore is also a good goalkeeper, and crucially, a leader at the back. The importance of which can't be underestimated when the captain is a striker.

I'd have to go with Moore.

Jake Wright's also a leader at the back. As is Bash, arguably JoC too. I get your point entirely, just playing Devil's :)

He wasn't signed as cover, he was signed to compete for the No.1 shirt. He's got it - by default, granted, but he's still got it - and until he's done enough to lose it, he'll keep it.
