Never going to happen as he would be unable to sign-up to the philosphy laid down for the new appointment.

Probably the only manager within reach that would get us up next season. Not going to happen though.

too good for us ,couldnt afford him and rightly wouldnt want to come back to a club where the fans would rather have a nice guy than a winner ,unless theyve got a nice guy then they want a winner unless theyve got a winner then they want a .........you get the picture

Probably the only realistic appointment that would rid me of my current apathy about the club and get me back through the turnstiles. He's our best shot at getting up next season but, alas, it won't happen. :(

But the ball won't go sideways very often, you realise?

:)

UTB.

Warnock would be too stubborn to come back.

The Club would be too stubborn to ask him.

Immovable object and unstoppable force spring to mind.

Indeed. Such a coupling would probably rent the very fabric of time and space asunder...

we need the best manager available at his time

if its him , so be it
I have reservations though, as to how commited he is, living in Cornwall, his true love

Spot on Brownie. The timing is just right.

Now all we need is Boycott to replace Compton up top and Freddie Trueman in for Finn and the Ashes are secure.
Oh, and get your money on that Rod Laver chap for Wimbledon this year.

Meanwhile I'll get Garyoke to break out Jethro Tull for the team to prance out to.

All together now

"Happy and I'm smiling,
Walk a mile to drink your water.
You know I'd love to love you,
etc. etc."

I'd like to think we could attract back a manager with vision and the experience and nous to revitalise the club's finances, excite the fans by playing attacting football and get us feared again. When we had the opportunity with John Harris we let him go to Wednesday and we will make the same mistake I guess by not approaching Warnock this time round.

Potential NSFW...

Linz edit: can we stop posting potentially NSFW pictures all over the forum please chaps? I, like many others view this site at work and a bit of consideration would be nice.

I get the impression that

Warnock would love to come back to rub McCabes nose in it

The club are desperate

If the club moved, Warnock would come.

I bet that Warnock has applied for the position...

It quite simply isn't happening.

Why 'attract back' anyone at all? The rules, so far as I'm aware, permit looking outside the S2 postcode, however revolutionary that might appear.

Surprise, eh?
