Have just read the comments from the last few days rather than post as wanted to reflect.

Should CW stay? I think yes till the end of the season (whenever that is). However, I'm leaning towards getting a new manager in for whatever division we are playing in next season. I think our new owners will be feeling the same. If we don't go up, then we definitely need to bring someone new in.

CW has done a good rebuild on the squad this season. Burrows, Cooper, Campbell have all been great successes. Peck, Brooks and Seriki have developed and so would have Arblaster if not for his injury. On the downside the January signings have been disappointing. Team was crying out for a Souttar replacement and I thought Holding was it but to be honest not sure why he was brought in? Results have exceeded expectations but performances have been less than convincing.

I'm not looking forward to next 4, 6 or 7 matches and am dreading a trip to Wembley if we get there.

Looking longer term, the club is not in a bad position. I'm confident the new owners want to see the club do well given their support to CW in January. The new training ground, a Category A academy plans are taking shape. Yes, we'll lose some players in the summer, but I think the basis of the squad will remain and are all of an age where they will learn from this season. A new manager for next season and a few quality replacements and we go again. That's my take anyway for what it is worth.

People really cannot take losing. Ironic really given all the baseless stuff aimed at Wilder and the players. 85 points from 42 games and they whine like whinging bitches all season. I'm surprised you think a new manager would out perform automatic form with a one window rebuild.

If we won every game including Oxford onwards they'd be shouting him out in September after our rag tag bunch were inevitably close to the bottom of the Prem. Zero self reflection, zero ownership of the shit bordering on poisonous atmosphere at BL. Full on entitlement, expectation and piggyesque delusions. That's Sheff United 2025.

Are you sure you’re as cool as that proverbial cucumber? You seem to be suffering from Bigger Blade Fever.

I'm the smallest Blade in the armoury. It seems you were looking in the mirror. As we're namesakes it's easily done I'm sure.

Not fun anymore, the takeover of the forum is almost complete. Its become a weekly or weakly diversion for me.

If this board was representative of real life Blades I'd have found a club akin to Sheffield United 1889-2020s a while ago. It isn't: it's a place where "the emptiest vessels" write piggyesque hyperbolic excrement to garner attention and fill a void in their lives.
If you look it as a game and accept that "all the world's a stage' it's quite fun.

It's never work Sean. Always fun and a light diversion for me my good friend 🫂

The grouping of fans as deluded, entitled, whatever cliched insult one wishes to use, against fans with differing opinions is as boring and lazy as it is inaccurate. And it’s based purely on them disagreeing with one another. I presume l’m in that grouping despite not calling for his sacking, not questioning his mental health, his drinking, blaming his inner circle and not quoting what he did outside the Banner Cross or other unsubstantiated gossip still must be part of the only problem at BL, certain fans. I suggested he’d lost it on the day Saturday because of his selection of Cannon, the tactics and the after final whistle events, huddle etc. (Let’s not go with the “he was perfectly calm in his interview” bollocks btw. He’s streetwise enough to know that a raging series of comments or being wound up about whatever wouldn’t help his case in any aftermath). It does not however mean many of us no longer recognise his great successes, the best seasons in recent memory and are grateful for that. A cheap shot if ever there was one.

Call out the racist comments reportedly in Shoutbox etc by all means but targeting anyone or everyone in this case who disagrees on the subject is pretty crass.

No need for those comments. My first Blades game was September 1966 so believe me I can take losing and disappointment. Comments like yours make me wonder how much longer it's worth going to games.

Just ignore him, most people do since he descended into troll mode and started blaming everything on fans who don’t think exactly like him. Something has clearly got him rattled. Look back on his history of reasonable posts & look at what he’s now coming out with. It will tell you all you need to know.

No need for this personal abuse. If you don't like my posts block me and don't refer to me anymore. Thank you for your cooperation. I'd thank you for deleting the above abisive post.

That’s your view of your fellow fans, so pipe down.

"Fans". You've abused me personally. I've never abused anybody personally only referred to the character of posts. Please block me and delete the abuse. I can't think of a nicer way to make the request.

I think it was “measured”!

From a distance anyway…….

No, you’ve made various other posts criticising fans at games who you clearly consider to be somehow inferior to you. It’s a bit rich for you to now start getting whiny & over sensitive when you get a bit back.

Which bit of my post do you consider abuses you?

I don’t block people, by the way. I find that childish. All opinions are valid even when I don’t like them. But feel free to block me, I couldn’t give a fuck.

Now, I'm just average, common too
I'm just like him, the same as you
I'm everybody's brother and son
I ain't different than anyone
Ain't no use to talk to me
It's just the same as talking to you

I've never referred to you in those posts. Are you saying you recognise yourself in those posts? If you do I'd like to make it clear it's purely coincidental on my part. I don't know you from Adam so...

You referred to me as a "troll" Nick. Do you want to apologise for that personal abuse? I find your bit about "all opinions are valid" ironical as your problem with me essentially stems from me having a different opinion to your good self.

The song does continue the overarching theme of the album; that Dylan is not the spokesman for this generation, that he is not some wise guru from whom people should expect profound statements of political or philosophical importance………

People can take losing its the fact we have taken nil pois from 3 games against Oxford, Millwall and Plymouth. Scoring a grand total of 1goal and actually not looking remotely like we would win any of those games.

Pointing out facts?

Poor show Sir, poor show.

No, I won’t be apologising because I consider posts from you in this thread to be trolling. My opinion, take it or leave it.

It's from "Freewheelin'. It predates that particular paradigm in his career. Indeed the album created it.

Your opinion is personal abuse. I'll leave it thanks: (despite your protestations to the contrary) you're intolerant of others opinions so I'll leave this post for a few minutes and then on the block list with the other bigots and intolerant people you go.

A good summary of how I imagine a lot of us feel. Well said.

If you care to check my posting history I have apologised on a number of occasions when I have overstepped the mark. I have no problem in doing so. Bell4 can confirm this.

Nowt to apologise for here, though.

Now, shall we get back to discussing your intolerance and opinions of your fellow supporters? Maybe you owe Sandygate an apology?
