Leicester lost again.

Swansea should drop points today.

If we win today we go 4 behind 6th again.

Lets hope Forest win today so that Newcastles nerves are high on Monday night and then the shock away win is a real possibility.

Reading have a tough run-in.
Cardiff have too BUT i think are clear (points deduction still possible though)
Swansea, still gotta play us and Bristol C away.
Donny still have to play Blackpool, WBA & Swansea.
Blackpool have to play Newcastle & Forest.
Middlesboro have to go to West Brom & Leicester.

Don't stop believing!

I don't want it.

A few decent performances and finishing 7th would do me for the rest of this season.

Lets see what squad/manager we have next season and assess if they are capable of anything like a promotion push.

A playoff final and, God forbid, promotion would be an embarrassment at this moment in time.

Is it me or is it still not over?

It's you, it was over when we lost away at Preston.....then Peterborough etc etc......

:gallop:

Matt

If we had beaten Scunthorpe then I would have said yes we still had a chance. However, I now think it has gone.

As for Forest I hope they lose today, Newcastle win and the Newcastle players all go out on the lash tonight and tomorrow and turn up on Monday with their guts full of Brown Ale.

Then and only then may Blamewell's 4-6 formation gain us a point.

Misguided loyalty

Look at what youve got mate without the hope and disillusionment of a true blade!
Blackwell hasnt got what it takes to take the Blades to the premiership and keep them there.
I dont want to be the premiership leagues wipping boys, too proud of the red and white for that!
Promotion on the basis of quality and entertaining footie or not at all!!!

All they have to do is win six games. IF they can do that then i think we'll make it.

Of course, we aren't going to win six games.....

It isn't impossible. Just unlikely.

Like its unlikely that someone might get suckered with an April Fool to the extent that they post it all on Bladesmad. No-one would be that daft would they..?

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

1 1/2 bottles of champagne = exponent(gullibility,5)

Its not over untill the fat lady sings !

buts what the point with a chairman like McCabe the man has zero ambition as far as the Blades are concerned and whats more some people say he tells lies !

The statistics say it's possible. Our shambles of a team and buffoon of a manager provide the antidote to optimism.

As Lenny Kravitz said

Mind you, he also said

So I wouldn't pay too much attention to him. He probably doesn't like football anyway, what with being a Yank and all.

Due to Leicester's poor run, we've still got half a chance, but anything other than a win today would certainly end any hopes we had of making the top 6.

"I admit that I can't wait to see the back of this season, I have hated it because of all the enforced changes and disruption. At least this time I hope I can do the job of bringing players in during the summer and not every week throughout the season."

I think the above comment by Blackwell tells you all we need to know about our prospects for this season. If he has given up and "can't wait to see the back of this season" then we might as well put any ridiculous thoughts of promotion to bed. This coming a week after telling the world 7 of the team aren't his players or won't be here next season and I can't see our team being particulary high in morale right now. What a wanker he is. Anyway, never mind it will give them more time to watch kes or some other pointless excercise in training.

YOU ,You you optermist you. Don't come on here with that. Don't you know this is a site for people to come on and moan about how shit the manager is, how the chairman has no ambition and how we're in the crap money wise.
How dare you? How very dare you?
On the other hand, I got my tickets for the pigs game just in a little hope of having a laugh that it took them 90 odd years to do the double and we got it back in 1. If we do make playoffs and get to the prem , well what a laugh that would be to expect nothing and get everything.

I'm with you Keep supporting your club.

PS now off to game and at full time i might only have pigs game to look forward to.

To be honest it is never over until its mathmatically over.

Its just we havnt done enough to deserve a top 6 finish even if we somehow get back into the top 6.

I like the optimism. But it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't win any of the last 6 games.
