The tactics board on the deadline day video seemed to indicate that Bash and JOC were additional cover for the wingback positions, so I would expect to see Bash there if Baldock and Freeman are both unavailable.

The added complication of course is Coutts’ absence as some may prefer Bash as cover there too. Lundstram scored last time out, has been improving and was signed to cover that position, so time to put some faith in the lad I think. No Coutts also means we should bring the captain back in. Duffy will be able to help out deeper if needed and Brooks has done a lot of travelling this week.

If I’d known Freeman would be fit I think I’d have got it. Strong team and strong bench, and with Coutts, Baldock, Stearman, Evans and Lavery to come back and add competition (or waltz back in to the first XI in Coutts’ case).
