Has anyone else noticed that Keith says the word "invariably" all the time during his match day commentary?

Prediction is a 1-0 win for United and 5 invariablies from Keith. Place your bets now....

And himself ...!!!
On my way , come on you Red and White Wizaaaaaaaaards !
As ever UTB !!
Ps enjoy putting up the tree Mrs Bbb and the junior Bbbs !

Leon Clarke according to Keith is shite because he’s had a lot of clubs

At some point he will want one of wider players to "get chalk on his boots".

Nice bloke and a Blades legend, but he does talk in cliches at times.

Someone needs to tell him that invariably invariably means that it happens every time, not that it happens most of the time.

Keith had a poor allround game but was a truely fantastic finisher (goal machine).

He seemed to get caught offside about 10 times every match because he was constantly on the shoulder of the last defender trying to make forward runs. He also never passed to anyone, always looked to shoot and had this knack of always being on target and making the keeper work.

I used to laugh to myself because his game totally relied on service (Colin Morris was fantastic at setting him up), so sometimes he’d rarely touch the ball and be having a poor game so I’d think he should be subbed, but then he’d pop up with a late goal scoring from his first chance.

I like Keith’s commentating, unlike the very bias John Pearson, Keith says it how it is and isn’t afraid to give negative criticism if and when we play poorly. If we are lucky he’ll say it. Whereas Pearson thinks every 50/50 challenge should be a penalty to Wednesday and is often corrected by the other radio presenter.

He has a limited vocabulary which is fine. He forgets that he was a lower league player as do Bladey Blades, which isn’t.

I’ll bet a lot of money that when he says we are lucky it has nothing whatsoever to do with luck.

To be fair to Keith he has been singing our praises for a while and struggles to find fault. Nowt to do with luck.

Always liked hearing Keith's views , Pearson is beyond doubt an appalling summarizer, had this misfortune to hear the end of his commentating on the pigs thriller last weekend whilst driving to the lane ,

He sounds just like a typical pig fan , blaming the ref , shouting at all decisions and saying how amazing they are !
Thought it was that fat twat tango when I first tuned in !

Pinchy as per usual, never letting the facts get in the way of an anti-Bladey dig.

KE made his debut in the top tier in 1976 and then scored 29 goals during our spell in the Second Division. As these were the top two divisions at the time, I presume these would not be in your 'lower leagues' definition?

He's held his hands up and admitted he was wrong about Clarke.
Good to know. I’ve pretty much stopped listening when Keith is on, id rather have a commentary free ifollow

It’s weird but I used to rate Keith but his moaning about players he doesn’t rate is annoying. Kev Gage is so much better and a really refreshing change

he’s had a lot to moan about recently.. he wasn’t on his own

Can't stand the bloke actually, he's even more annoying than him who supports that other lot

Is the second division (where we currently reside) classed as lower league?

Edwards made 123 league appearances for us at second division level and scored 62 league goals. 91 of those appearances were in a distinctly average side. Yet he still achieved a 50% strike rate.

He also made 55 appearances at second division level for Hull in 1988 and 1989. They were a struggling side, but he still scored 29 goals.

The only place at which he found goals hard to come by at second division level was Leeds.

I think most impartial observers would say his record puts him in the pretty good striker category. Bladey Bladeyness doesn't have anything to do with it. His record speaks for itself. The man was something of a goal machine, and those goals did not dry up as he went up the leagues.

You can allow yourself to recognise that he was actually pretty good Pinchy. After all, neither Bassett nor Warnock had anything to do with him being here.

He fucking isn’t, Pearson is your typical gob shite know it all who knows fuck all. Can’t understand all the Keith bashers on here, smashing bloke who loves his adopted Blades. Good enough for me.

I liked Keith a great deal. He was a deadly finisher and technically a good player. I just remember where he played most of his career when he comments on people who have played at a higher level than he ever did. I believe Dean Hammond played more top flight games and scored more goals there?...

Indubitably.

Had he much option Sean? It would be a difficult corner to fight that the Championship's current top scorer is shite.......

I bet he admitted it reluctantly.....o_O
