Ampadu is a bit of an enigma. He reminds me a bit of a young Jags who for a time looked acomplished in midfield, brilliant at RB and decent at CH, with the odd stinker of a match that is only to be expected of a young player. The comment that he needs to nail down a place is bang on the money, he risks becoming a jack of all trades, master of none.

We’ve always lamented Irish fans views on Enda during his excellent years for us but given his performances for us have dropped but his reviews for Ireland stay the same are we now seeing from Enda what the Irish fans always did.

I think that was Enda's 21st appearance for the Republic, all while playing for us. I thought he would go on to be our most capped player beating Ndlovu who made 26 for Zimbabwe while playing for us.

However I'm not so sure now.

Enda didn’t play to badly , he even took the throw ins Quick as well , he misses JOC / Egan playing behind him
But if anybody’s form has dropped off a cliff then it’s Doherty on the other side Jesus he was fucking gash and Connolly up front a waste of space
Other than that it wasn’t a bad game for a very young and inexperienced Irish side
The keeper was fucking awful as well

Cheers Panchero!
