some wolves U21 player picked over Dezza

Granted they weren't all his fault, but after the thrashing at home by Holland, and the utter shambles away to Cyprus, I doubt Paddy will get another cap for a long time yet.

Nine conceded in two games, including five against a side who had only ever scored five in an international against ANDORRA before, isn't good.

I think he became a bit of a sacrificial lamb, but the defending in both games was absolutely suicidal. It wasn't all his fault.

I seem to recall that it was Paddy's choice that he hasn't been involved in the ineternational set up for a while.

I might be wrong, but I'm sure I read that whilst he was sorting his life out he wouldn't be picked.

he made a point of annoucing in the press whilst we were over in Ireland that he was ready to make a come back on the international team if the manager saw fit.

To be fair Robbie, that might be right, but he didn't cover himself with glory in those two matches, and I think some management involvement may have taken place too. Believe me ........... :(

He does look a lot leaner than in recent times though. I hope things are going a lot better for the fella.
