Stop worrying. So long as you've given him enough bus fare to get back, or a torch if he decides to walk, he'll be fine.Got one on the email linked to Big Small Fox's ticket.
Too many late night matches for an 8 year old. And the now mandatory loads of added time makes it even later.
I know it's a pain for away fans/fans away from Sheffield, but I'd like there to be more 19:30 kick offs if we have to do mid-weeks.
It would also be nice if they could stop scheduling most of them in winter too.
Also Southampton and Portsmouth both forced to travel up here in midweek. Surely , in addition to hassle caused to genuine football fans travelling, the attendance will drop compared to a Saturday 3pm k.o.Got one on the email linked to Big Small Fox's ticket.

I used to go with my Dad and my Uncle who both had gradually worsening mobility issues.I have given up on night games my knees are phucked, parking close to the ground is an issue without a blue badge. Even using public transport is an issue. Buses into Sheffield are every 1 hour 40 mins after tea time if I were to miss one home the next would be the last bus getting me home after 00.15am. For Sunday games buses are an issue 1 every hour at best, can't get a train to Worksop late at night either. I usually park the car up at Halfway and get the tram in, the walk from the tram stop is starting to be a struggle, sitting cramped up on the kop don't help at all. I can't justify the price of a ST on the south stand if I don't get to every game I am slowly being priced out.
I suspect they're more interested in TV money than fans having to travel the length of the countryAlso Southampton and Portsmouth both forced to travel up here in midweek. I don't disagree, but FA rules on ticketing are stricter for cup games than for league games as the revenue is shared between the two clubs. This applies right down the pyramid into non-league.First game missed in a few years ( including cup games and pre season) was the rearranged Oxford game as was in Bordeaux drinking wine on a long standing and paid for week.
I made the point that as it was a club feck up that no one monitored the frozen pitch leading to the postponement of the original game that a gesture should have been to give ST holders a free ticket for the Mansfield cup game.
Sometimes a little vision and doing things outside of the box wouldn’t go a miss at United.

Clubs actively request that games against teams further away are midweek; there is more likely to be more attendance on a weekend from “nearer” clubs and further away clubs will generally just have the hardcore that will travel no matter what day. Also Southampton and Portsmouth both forced to travel up here in midweek.
