Interesting insight into yesterday

The question is what are we as a football club going to gain by exposing this shit??

No. Let's sweep it under the carpet so some of our own supporters can just continue spouting bollocks. Things like this just make agendas more difficult to express.

Wilder and Schrieber didn't seem to have an issue with doing it, nor did the owners apparently.

What's this, we'll have no transparency here"

Having a sneaky peak at Roy's upcoming 'view from' and found this...

Vid looks to have down well at other clubs too. Lot of love for CW. Great PR for him and the club.
Nice to read that, some great comments there.

This comment is one that stands out for me;

Every now and then I think about becoming an agent. I think I would stand out because I would actually care about the welfare of my players, not just how much money I could suck out of their accounts. Look at that agent sat next to the player who signs. I know it is easy to apply your own interpretation to such things, but he might as well have 'bastard' written on his forehead. The guy shows complete contempt for the situation, he does not even look as the player is signing. He just has a kind of 'can't be arsed with this' look upon his face. What do these people even know? I could do better than that.

Did anyone else notice this? He was just sat there playing with this phone as though he didn't want to be there.

If what Sinclair says is true, then he's accusing several SUFC staff of lying throughout the day and also his own agent, who was the one that said Sinclair is at Sheffield train station, right?

I think more likely is exactly how it played out in the video. And Sinclair is trying to save face (instructed by Daddy Agent, no doubt) by sending out that tweet. I would be surprised if we went back in for him after that, seems to have totally the wrong attitude for us and for any club. Sums up a lot of young footballers. He's a 21 year old player with around 10 senior appearances under his belt, and absolutely nowhere near the first team at his current club. In a couple of years he will be desperate to play for someone like us. Felt sorry for him at first - not after reading that drivel.

With any corrupt regime someone has to have the balls be the first to stand up to it, if it's to be changed.

Wrong though it it is, I don't think the system is going to change because of what happened with United on Thursday. I'm am concerned that a few agents my feel they don't want to deal with us because if it things don't go smoothly SUFC will drag them through the dirt . I hope I'm wrong but it does concern me.

I wouldn't worry unduly.

Never has the adage 'plenty more fish in the sea' been more appropriate. although in this instance you could replace 'fish' with 'slimy toerag parasite wanker'.

I not , I'm currently basking in the sunshine in Italy
My real worry is has the wife bought enough Peroni's

Come on Whitehawk. He could have been doing any number of things. The lad Heneghan no doubt has umpteen papers to sign. What if the agent was onto his old club to let them know its gone through, or arranging accommodation for the lad of booking a table to celebrate? We have absolutely no idea but choose to come up with him being bored and playing brick breaker or something, oh and being a 'bastard' according to the quote.

You mean "don't go smoothly" as in their plan to get themselves a last minute bung doesn't work?
Maybe they'll find it easier and better for their clients just to do things properly :)

Just read an article in the Sheffield star!!. Wilder saying that the young players should show some b---s and man up in regards to their own playing career. I know the system will never change but wilder has stuck his head above the parapet and he's getting recognition for his stance!!. I hope the club changes its approach to T D DAY and others may follow our lead?. IN WILDER WE TRUST.

Radio Sheffield interviewed CW about it today.

That's a very good piece, and I had been critical of the lack of pickup initially by the local media.

Key revelation at the end of it: Wilder suggests it's unlikely that Kevin McCabe will still be owner of the club in 75 years' time. "Hey, when the Grim Reaper comes calling..."

Quite possibly, it just stood out to me because the way I saw it, was that he looked liked he would rather have been somewhere else.

Good luck to CW in his crusade against agents, most of whom are parasites. But the problem is much bigger than this - football at the highest level is corrupt because it is inseparable from the corrupt world of finance. Imagine that Hurricane Irma goes to the south of its current predicted track and wipes out the Cayman Islands - it could destroy Manchester United because that is where they are registered as a company. Just imagine what they would lose - correct, absolutely nothing, because their presence there is a sham. The problem is much bigger than football. But football could still sort out agents if the will was there, and it would be worth doing.

Spot on in your assessment!!. The problem can't be fixed because the people at the top don't think there's any problem in any aspect of the game!!. You only have to see the Man City situation- reported to FIFA over FFP by PSG. FIFA responds by saying that there's no problem!!. That tells you all you need to know!!,

I wonder how much TV money comes from countries surrounding Korea? And what will happen if there's a war?
