Interest in Blades players

i keep reading journos articles on interest in various players but as the club is subject to sale ratification is it safe to assume there can be no sales or purchases this month or until the the owners due diligence is completed.
Hecky has his hands tied and his comments clearly indicate contract extensions cannot be agreed. Therefore a convenient reposte to the vulture agents for big clubs thinking we could sell for big money Ndiaye or if the board lose their bottle and derail almost guaranteed promotion.

In reality, the owner can buy or sell as many players as he chooses should opportunities arise, unless of course there’s an agreement in place with any potential new owner

Say the new owner has bid £130m for the club, at least £30m of that fee includes the value of a couple of key players, if the Prince sold one of the clubs major assets, the new owner wouldn't be getting what he'd agreed to buy.

I can't imagine any sales, if there are it would be a really bad sign as I think the new owners would have agreed it, not exactly the show of intention we're hoping for as fans

I can’t believe that any potential new owner would be daft enough to enter into an agreement whereby when it was finalised , it was not what he had agreed to buy in that it had been stripped of one or more of it’s major assets .

Quick repost about refusing sales means nothing and would be a lie.
Nothing has changed with United whilst the Prince has been in charge,
he's explained time and time again that we don't need to sell anyone and he'll do everything he can to achieve promotion.
However he's explained that every player has a valuation and we wont sell unless clubs meet it, hence why Berge is still here.

Every player at every club can be sold, if Spurs receive a 180 million bid for Kane, he's gone.
If any club offers 50 million for N'Diaye he's gone too, however only if we have adequate replacements lined up.
So I'm not the slightest but worried.

One fairly obvious spin off from this is the return of Will Osula. Banned for 3 games and apparently cup tied, he returns to first team training at the Lane from his loan club.
PH is well aware that strikers are needed to fill gaps in the squad. He is not in a position to buy, or loan anyone because we don’t have the money and the Khadra issue is dragging on.

The managers instincts are proved correct when Jebbinson scores away at Millwall in the cup. If that’s not enough, PH knows McBurnie is cracked for a month at least, and this is the perfect time to bring Osula back to keep Jebbinson on his toes. I was the one who said we didn’t need another striker and we couldn’t afford one. WTF do I know, but suddenly we have two ‘new’ development strikers, just when we need them. (I think Osula will develop more quickly than Jebbinson).

They are our players, cost nothing extra for the club, and they could easily be capable of getting us over the line, especially when we get back to two games a week. The bonus is, they both buy into the squad ethos at the Lane, and they fit the development club mantra perfectly. No need to break in another striker from external sources.

Any material transfer would have to be agreed by the potential new owners as well I believe.

Example

• Ndiaye for £1m new owners would be annoyed at accepting
• Ndiaye for £100m new owners would be annoyed at Prince for rejecting
• Ndiaye for £25/30m (about par) is a tougher judgement call, but it wouldn't be Prince's decision alone. If Prince did sell, the buying party could claim there'd been a shift in value of the club, and renegotiations may have to restart.

In a nutshell, there's a reason why in Football Manager you are under a transfer embargo once a takeover bid emerges!

It would be impossible to get an adequate replacement for Ndiaye in January.

Definately. Also the player being an asset at his sale value is true, but in the current situation I think there is more to it.
I am guessing the new buyer is buying on a gamble, Prince on a kind of cash-out.
eg. SUFC in Championship worth £50m , in Prem worth £100m , buyer offers £75m now.
(figures are just made up to paint the scenario).
So sales will be a big no-no .
