Really getting tiring of reading the forum and pretty much all the threads have posters insulting others in one of form or another. I understand that we are all frustrated with how the season has started, the lack of quality up front not being addressed as quickly as it needs to be, etc. Everyone has their own opinions on players, tactics, etc and obviously a forum is the place to express those opinions,but really I do not see why the expressing of those opinions has to be done in a derogatory/insulting manner.

As for myself, I believe that we have not played that bad these first few games, far from it, and getting some quality up front and we will be just fine.

At the end of the day we are all Blades and turning on each other is not really helping matters. Just my take on things.

Football is an opinions based game, for someone to call your opinion stupid/resort to personal insults, only for them to then tell you theirs own opinion and expect you to agree with it is hilarious, especially when they find out you don't agree.

This years Premier is behaving like the Championship in many ways, as everybody seems to be free scoring (except us of course) against anybody. Leeds and Villa may well finish above us, but their flaky defences will ensure it’s not in the top half.

There's nothing like a defeat for bringing out the insults and 3 defeats in a row is rich territory for those seeking to lash out, at anything, or anyone, because they feel angry and upset, or simply because they are just nasty little pieces of work. Even when things are going well, there are some folk who seemingly want to pick an argument or just be plain contradictory, for the hell of it. I know not what goes on inside their lives that makes them so? But it's an inevitable fact of life and a feature of fora like this. Fortunately, it's a minority, but a bad run of results, or even a single bad result, has them crawling out of the woodwork, looking to make themselves feel better perhaps, by making others feel bad?

This thing that many refer to as "The Blades Family" is just like any other family. There are disagreements and falling out. The difference is, in a real family the people love each other (or should do). In the Blades Family, we share a common love for our football club, but not necessarily each other.

I mostly find it a positive experience coming on here. I enjoy reading about the wide range of views and opinions that people hold on many things, not just the football. I also think there are some very smart and funny people who post stuff that makes me think deeply about some things and also give me a good laugh. It's also just about the best place to find out the latest news about our football club.

Occasionally I find some stuff irritating - but I think it's hard to know what's behind some of the posts or posters on here and I try not to get drawn in to personal insults or go looking to pick a fight. I'd rather consider for a moment that not everyone's life is perfect. Some folks are probably very depressed or in ill health and I don't want any of my contributions to cause someone to be upset and make them feel worse. I'm sure I'm guilty of it on some occasions, but mainly I come on here to discuss/debate, have fun and try and make it an enjoyable experience for others - not to ruin their day.

That's not everyone's agenda though - and that's a real shame. But we can't change it - it's life. So best ignore it. It'll get better when the Blades start winning again, although it will never go away entirely!

I've always said if we became very successful and went to Liverpool and won 4-1 there's be people moaning about letting in a goal. Football is a release from life.
Different people vent their frustrations in different ways . I'm a positive Venter. Some are only happy complaining . It's how life is .It's good to have a bad run . We have a lot of moaners who have been suffering last seàon as we did well .I'm happy for them. They are back in their happy place.
