What they offering,no thanks.
Players wife not going to sheffield.
Players club not for sale.
Players club quote fee beyond our means.
Other clubs hear player may be available and move in.
The list goes on and on.
I could add fails medical but I am unsure we do those.

Not doomed. Just the inexorable result of events that began a few years ago and still have some distance to go to play out fully.

The transfer market is a big merry go round and a poker game all at the same time, one player moves and that creates a space in the squad for someone else the timings are crucial as players and agents are vying for the best move and best money, I remember United selling Carl Bradshaw to norwich and over the space of a day his value halved because of the deals in place for other players.

Really makes you wonder how any transfers are conducted at all doesnt it? If a bid comes in for Burrows that'll be sorted pretty quickly I bet.
