Another week gone. 1 loan in. No permanents. But CW is optimistic. Can't say I am. Still....we haven’t git rid of anyone important....well Brooks!!!

We’ve not really started out summer recruitment it feels.

We’ve met Jairo go then decided against it.

We’ve let Brooks go for 9m and borrowed his replacement.

Some of our fans haven't the first clue or appreciation of how difficult it is to sign a player.
So united are interested in said player
His agent says sheff u are in for you.
Player no thanks.
What they offering,no thanks.
Players wife not going to sheffield.
Players club not for sale.
Players club quote fee beyond our means.
Other clubs hear player may be available and move in.
The list goes on and on.
I could add fails medical but I am unsure we do those.

Not doomed. Just the inexorable result of events that began a few years ago and still have some distance to go to play out fully.

This part of the Blades rollercoaster is going to be a little rocky I think.
