I can confirm the OP.

Left this BIG fuckin' dog barking and howling at everyone who walked past the ticket office.

Last saw him being taken for a walk by two Vietnamese blokes towards London Road. Dog that is......

Kev fancied a Pot Noodle and they thought he said Hot Poodle.

I know you can do all the talking in the world and not be any good but the lad really sounds like he's got his head screwed on. If he can play half as good as he can talk he'll do well here, sounds like exactly the character I'd expect Wilder to want tbh.

Sounds like an absolute giant as well, something we've really lacked at the back.

Wonder if he is the Blade that a BM poster was on about.

I was his first cricket coach (so take a lot of credit for his career!) and, although I haven't seen him in a few years now, he was always a top, top kid. I'm pretty certain he hasn't changed much from what I've seen, heard, read, and having spoken to others.

He's seen one of his best mates get dropped by Rotherham for being a 5'6" central midfielder under Steve Evans, having been part of the first team squad at 16. He's also seen another of his best mates, Matt Fitzpatrick, become one of the best golfers in the world. So he knows what needs to be done to succeed.

I'd love for him to join us from the personal point of view, but he's still a work in progress as a centre back.

As for whether he's a Blade, I'm really trying to wrack my brain to remember but I can't!

From the sounds of this lad we may as well have kept Terry Kennedy.

He's not played much football and he has had a knee problems.

Anyway I'm sure he has the potential to be the next Sergio Ramos.

Thanks for your contribution

Dr Bladesman is it? I'm impressed you've managed to diagnose his chronic knee problems.

Players get injured, it's an occupational hazard. You need to learn the difference between an injury and a recurring injury problem.

Sorry, I assumed we were no longer in the market for players that had recent injury problems. Every player we sign that has recently come back from a long term injury has ended up injured again.

Interesting comment from a Barnsley fan from October last year:

Hes so slow and immobile , but I do feel sorry for the lad as I dont think he recovered from that injury well..

Anyway how does the lad fair as a centre back? Lets see what Ipswich town fans had to say:

Paul Digby awful

Worst Ipswich game ever, Digby awful

Paul Digby is probably the worse player I've ever seen

Paul Digby..... Jesus

Anyway we are back shopping in poundland for players so what do we expect.

There you go again: "injury problems". What, in your mind, is the distinction between 'an injury' and 'injury problems'?

Then you say:

"Every player we sign that has recently come back from a long term injury has ended up injured again."

The only 2 players I can think of that we signed straight after a long term injury are Coutts and Baptiste. Neither of their injuries recurred so I'm struggling to see what you're seeing unless I'm over looking somebody.

And as for your inclusion of Barnsley and Ipswich fans' opinions: it's completely irrelevant how they rate him. I wasn't arguing his suitability: I'm not desperate to sign him. I was arguing that you don't know the difference between an injury and an injury problem.

The lad played one game for Ipswich in a 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough. Have him shot of you like but stop being a whiny bore

Well we hardly have the greatest of records signing players that have had a serious injuries in the past but whatever we take anyone these days.

I wouldn't want to insult someone over a forum, we're all blades and it's not what the forum's for, I'm really biting my lip though. I refuted your argument and you seem completely ignorant and continue arguing the same point with someone else.

Back it up, you've made a claim ("we hardly have the greatest record signing players that have had a serious injuries") so show some examples.

I've listed 2 players (Baptiste & Coutts) that don't follow your rule.

Two comments from Ipswich fans:

"I've never seen him play, but he got a couple of games last season and from what I've heard he did fine. We had him on loan from Barnsley for the second half of last season and I think McCarthy likes him so I'm expecting him to sign for us this summer."

"He's decent at Championship level in the few games he played for us, I'd be really surprised if we don't sign him this summer."

He's not ..... he supports Newcastle

I can tell you that for certain (ITK) :)

I see your Paul Coutts and raise you a James Wallace and Florent Cuvelier.

Not that Coutts is the perfect example of a player that is actually fit.

You care to elaborate? I don't remember Wallace or Cuvelier coming back from a serious injury: which is the crux of yours argument.

Not saying that those players aren't injury prone, as they clearly are. I'm again trying to establish the difference between being injured and having a persistent injury reccuring.

My source is commercial manager at united he told me Duffy and hussey were signing a week before it was announced

Chali we have had a record the last few years of picking up players on the cheap as they are injury prone and it has to stop. Whether this lad is or isn't I don't now.

For the record Flo did his knee ligaments and has struggled ever since and Wallace despite being young has had one problem after another including a double hernia.

Not see then Tafa fell either...

Not seen him play. I was at The Lane when he visited but it was such a short visit that I would not recognise him again. He was carrying a large banner with "£10k or bust" written on it on large letters. His agent was pushing an empty wheelbarrow.

Wilder and the entire Tecnical Board ripped the banner out of his hands, set fire to the wheelbarrow and kicked them both up the arse, Father Ted style. It was all very odd...Actually it might have been Bishop Brennan I saw, come to think of it....
