I think the side played poorly tonight. The defence and the midfield was shocking whereas the forwards worked hard but didn't get any service.
Blackwells problem is that there is nothing to take out of that game.

Nice of Robins to say it was nearly our full strength side.

If we have defended the team in the last two games for no result because we played well he has to accept the stick when we play like that.

I think a 9 man United did very well tonight against a good Barnsley side. But while ever Quinn and Harper are playing it will be a nine man team. I tried to watch the game objectively, hard I know, but they were just poor.

Regardless of who was playing, why are they all terrified of getting the ball? There was hardly any attempt to keep the ball on the floor during the entire ninety minutes, they just wanted rid of it as soon as possible.

Thought Treacy was garbage tonight, looked uninterested when he had the ball and neshed a few challenges as well!

Once again though, a team with a lot less resource than us have shown us how to play football! Kozluk and Moore apart they all looked comfortable on the ball!

I think Harper shows promise when we play well, but he was poor tonight.

I'd prefer to see Harper with a more defensive partner (either Monty or Williamson) rather than Quinn. But that's getting away from the point Harper was poor so was Quinn, Treacey and Wardy for that matter.

The ones who have already made their minds up won't agree but Evans again played better especially considering the support he got.
I thought Walker showed again why the money we got for him was excellent business by the club. Too many times makes silly decisions and gets caught.

It's not that a point at Barnsley isn't a decent result, but it's the manner of performance that was diabolical. In the same way that there were positives to come out of the Newcastle and Cardiff defeats, I can't see any positives in tonight's performance. Two shots on target all night, both from the penalty spot.

Walker was our best player and our best attacking option which says it all about the rest of the team.
The central defence was terrifyingly bad and I'd like to thank Robins for taking Bogdanovic off when he probably thought the game was won.
It's ok to blame injuries for disruption to the team but it's not and never will be an excuse for players having no idea what they're doing other than hoofing the ball up the pitch.
And well done to Henderson for keeping his cool with both penners. Good lad.

Walker kept losing the ball in his own half leaving us exposed.
Wardy did the same on the left just further up the field and yet you are championing them.

Why don't you have a go at Henderson for not being there for the pull back?
