I'm fucking sick of it. Shit results despite decent performances. United cannot and should not change anything about the way they play. I love our football.

But fuck me. Can we have a stroke of luck please? You don't have a divine right to beat anyone in this league and we should be grateful to be back after so long away. We started the season so well and understandably expectations rose. But perhaps rightly so, on merit and effort! And nothing has changed but the results have faltered.

QPR were awful, we lose.
Fulham were were shoddy at best but could've still got sumat.
Birmingham we battered, but draw.
Bristol we batter but lose after going down to 10 men.

You can't even say we've "been found out". We haven't. We play lovely stuff and it remains largely effective but, fuck me, I am SICK of long range efforts and shite results. Fulham, Birmingham, and now Bristol. That's three in around a month. It's infuriating. And then the sky pundits and their insincere fickle nonsense at the end "this Bristol City side won't go away". Oh piss off! We've battered them. They've created sod all until we had a man sent off. We've outplayed them, then hit the woodwork 4 times.

Lundstram's come in and been brilliant tonight. We looked solid with Baldock back and that's the most balanced line up we've had since losing Coutts. Duffy's been sensational, Billy and Leon have worked their knackers off and we've been class in possession. I know I probably need to heed my own advice here but kept the faith Blades, it will come. But fuck me, it should have already come before now. We play lovely stuff.

Smarmy fucking Lee Johnson Bristol City bastards with sky pundits rimming them. Not Browny and Andrews in the studio. Those insincere commentators. We were the much better side. They've not done owt to deserve to win this. Their substitutions were shite, Djuric is dire, Reid offered nothing and they can all fuck off.

Up the Bastard Blades!

Can't stand Johnson and his ridiculous Joe Pascali squeaky voice. In fact, I fucking hate the lot of the pikey, red necked, 'oooh-ahhh' cunts.

And now I can't even fucking spell shite.

Get chuffing rodded!

Much of the performance was really good and to hit the woodwork 4 times is so unlucky - but the substitutions weren’t positive they were fucking suicidal when down to 10 men. Should have taken the point.

Nothing at all as fell for us tonight grrrrrrrrrrr

We are sooooooooooooo unlucky , our luck has surely got to turn around WE WERE ALL OVER THEM before Fleck got sent off , now he misses 3 matches !! We have got to hang in there for the play offs now !

I think there are a few reasons for our sticky patch, but yeah luck is playng a big part in it and we didnt get any tonight.

I'm sick of wonder goals against us. But then again, in a higher league, this happens a bit more than the pub league (better players).

What’s bugging me is the opposition just a lately scoring wonder goals completely against the run of play.

How unlucky were we tonight?

Hit the woodwork four times, wonder save by their keeper, amazing goal out of nowhere and conceding in the 91st minute when down to ten men.

Got to say Fleck cost us tonight. Didn’t think it was a malicious tackle but can’t argue with the red card. Two feet of the ground - straight red every time. Until the sending off there was only going to be one winner. Their manager looked upon it as a “bit of luck” Strange thing to say I thought when your player is left on crutches.

Obviously knows they wouldn’t have got anything until then.

This, absolutely this. Completely this.

Fucking sick of long range goals against the run of play.

And now the sky presenter is asking the pundits if this is a sign of intent from Bristol City? On what level? How on earth? They were awful and we battered them. They only got something from it cos we were down to 10.

To be fair, we were shit against Millwall

Aye, I agree with that - and the team deservedly got a bollocking. But other games, including tonight, we were not and its so infuriating to lose on a number of occasions in close succession when playing that well.

Even though we were down to 10, that liner on the John Street side cost us tonight. I'll say what Chrissy Wilder can't without an FA fine:

He missed every. Fucking. Thing.

Shoves. Shirt pulls. Climbing. Elbows! How that giant up front wasn't off for the elbow on Jack I don't understand. It was right in front of the liner. Nothing.

Their second goal - offside by two yards. Not long after that another run, he was five yards off the line and their lad was a clear 2 off and he missed it.

Useless. Disgraceful. Don't know how he has the cheek to collect his match fee. We'd have been better off with the flag on a little conveyor belt going up and down the line. I could have curled one out on the pitch and stuck that fellas flag in it and it'd have caught more than that hopeless fucking waster.

As much as anyone else, he cost us a point tonight.

Flecks challenge didn't look a red to me at the time but I'm holding judgement until I see it myself.

I think given the circumstances the subs were the wrong choice and we might have been better bringing on a defender and holding onto the point.

It looked bloody offside to me.

And to them too, given half of the Bristol team stopped running.

Still not sure Wilder is sure of his best front two....

Brooks for Sharp was surely the change. Then Duffy for Carruthers...

Hey - he's still got plenty of collateral for me.

In Tufty we Trust.

Thems be my thoughts on the substitutions too mate.

Most frustrating result so far this season. It just felt inevitable.

Very pleased to see that Lundstram has stepped up. Need to find someone to fill Fleck's boots for three games now though.

Having slept on it I'm of the view that as a paying punter I freakin love this team/manager. However, as a fan it'll be the death of me!!

As others have said, to keep conceding 'screamers' late in the first half after dominating possession and chances I s no longer just bad luck. And we've being the gallant losers chasing games once too often this season.

Tufty has plenty of credit in the bank, but I'm hoping he can use the loss of Fleck to create a new system which gives us more of a midfield defensive platform.

If you think back to that fateful day in September we had Basham shielding the defence, Clarke as a lone striker and Brooks running at them from deep.

It’s getting very annoying in that all a side has to do against us is shoot from 20+ yards and invariably it ends up in the back of the net. Perhaps we need to look at our goalkeeper situation in January. Both Moore and Blackman seem to have a knack for being beaten from range

No such thing as luck. If we had finished our chances we would have won.

No such thing as luck?
It’s a view I suppose - but not one I necessarily share.

Totally agree that if we’d have finished our chances we’d have been free & clear by half time.
But to hit the woodwork 4 times?
For their keeper to have a blinder?
For us to have linesman giving us very little?
And a ref who gave things mainly 1-way?
For an un-meant pass to land right at their centre-half’s feet in the box for their 2nd?
For countless rebounds & ricochets dropping at their feet & not ours?

A lot of things went Brizzle’s way tonight that we couldn’t control. If that’s not ‘luck’, what is it?

As for that human pantomime-horse they brought on at half time, WTF was that?!?!?
Never seen a more poorly co-ordinated ‘athlete’. He looked like he was being tasered when he was running.

Hope Young Kozzy feels better for his OP outburst. Made me chuckle - I could taste the frustration :D

It's not luck tho.. Appreciating emotions high, but..

Hit bar 4 times? Poor finishing.
Ref making bad calls? Subjective ineptitude
Keeper having a blinder? Well, that's not luck, that's their keeper having a blinder.

I could go on, but can't be arsed really. I know what you and Kozzy_is_my_Dad are saying. I am more concerned that always going for the win will hand a quality opposition an advantage when we are not firing on all cylinders.

And all those things happeningn on one night is.......? Luck, perchance? Coincidence? Planet alignment?
Whatever it is, I wish it’d stop happening.

Not sure how Moore can take any blame for the first goal last night.

Watching it live at the game I thought he might have been out of position but watching it back I wouldn't expect any keeper to have saved it.

The game before Fulham was Hull City
And their solitary goal was also a long range worldy against the run of play.

Before that was Burton (I think) and their goal was also a long range worldy against the run of play.
