OK - so not a lot to be cheerful about at the moment - so here's something to hope for.
The worst 2 seasons that I've witnessed in the top flight were 1975/76 with Furphy & Sirel and 2020/21 with Wilder & Hecky.
At the moment, those seasons were both just worse than the current one BUT - in 75/76 we won 4 of the last 6 games and in 20/21 we won 3 of the last 6 games.
The graph below shows those seasons (with 75/76 adjusted for 3 point wins and 38 game seasons).
In 75/76 we beat Norwich, West Ham, Leeds and Newcastle.
In 20/21 we beat Brighton, Everton and Burnley.
So look out Brentford, Burnley, Newcastle, Forest, Everton and Tottenham! We'll be coming for you!
