Attrocious, what the fuck is this sport?
I am sure he knew what he was doing, he tapped his head as he ran back, he wasn’t only time wasting, he knew there was a chance a goal would be given.

In April you were done with this team, that went on to be promoted and is in the top half of the Premier League.
Forgive us if we take your projected absence with a pinch of salt and a lot of apathy...
Only thing I can think is even tho the lino flagged, the ref thought it was too close to call offside, hence didn't blow. How come the ref didn't blow the whistle when the lino raised the flag for offside?
A farce...pundits all over the place saying play to the whistle.
How do you ignore it when the linesman at the halfway line puts his flag up? It’s dead easy to ignore it and put the ball in the net when you’re the attacker but much less easy as a defender.
although still not seen it, I can picture what happened.
This sounds about right. He's in a no lose situation. Shambles.
Did any Newcastle fans shout for VAR before it was called?
I’ve no problem with VAR on this and I’ve no problem with the ref on this occasion...but what the actual living fuck was the lino doing putting his flag up????!
Why bother having linesmen at all?
Blew up quick enough for every other offside didn't he.This changes everything and it’s nothing to do with linos. The decision to play-on when an offside flag is raised has rarely (if ever) been made before. (Can anyone remember it happening before?) So surely, to be fair, refs should now NEVER blow for offside. Otherwise, we’ve been had, haven’t we?
But surely if the linesman does put his flag up like that, the right thing to do would be for the Ref to acknowledge the mistake and award a drop kick or similar. It was clear our players had stopped because of a mistake by officials, so why do we get punished for that?I’ve no problem with VAR on this and I’ve no problem with the ref on this occasion...but what the actual living fuck was the lino doing putting his flag up????!

Incase anyone cares, heres the official "Offside" on the Premier League website..
What happens if you are flagged for offside?
If a player if flagged for offside then play must stop and a free-kick will be rewarded, although sometimes an advantage is played if it is better for the other team not to get a free-kick.
There is no individual punishment for being caught offside and a player will not be issued with a card, no matter how many offsides they commit in a match.
The player must be in the opposing team's half in order to be flagged for offside.
