After the performances of late we have every right to moan, just as we praise the team when they play well. It's not even the fact the players aren't good enough that pisses people off. It's the lack of urgency from our supposedly 'top players' like Sander Berge that pisses us off.

If we win some are having a pop at Berge , Ossie , Lowe , Bash and Billys legs have gone , substitutions etc etc , it’s ingrained in some of you!

Yeah I'll agree with you on that, and there's no place for that, I'm talking about fans that are expressing their opinions regarding performances.

Today was a game where a point would have been a good result. 1 more point and 2 less for them. We need to set up to be hard to beat and try and nick one away from home against the better sides.

We've played Millwall, Watford, Boro and Blackburn in the last 3 games. I'd have taken 7 points there. We have 3.

Another problem is we set up to score early and don't keep any shape, going gung-ho has cost us a number of times. It's like a lack of match situation awareness. Stay solid and take the game away from teams. I mean, that worked against spurs.

Some of our fans who turn into little crybabies whenever we lose a game. No one likes losing. I'm angry and very frustrated. But I don't take every setback as an excuse to criticise every single player and the management team. Every single loss doesn't mean we're going to ruin our entire season.

We've lost to the 3rd, 4th and 5th best teams in the league. All on form and all treating us as a cup final.

This is not about criticising. It's the massive overreactions every time we don't win. Like we're fucking Man City. It's a bloody hard league. It always has been. Some of you expect to walk every game.

It's like some of you only started supporting this club after lockdown. You clearly couldn't have been around in the league 1 days. Now that was embarrassing. You'd be wearing nappies.

Nobody expects to walk games but everybody expects a bit of fucking fight in their team, that yesterday was fucking embarrassing 3.5k of us yesterday and the cheeky twats have the nerve to trow there arms in the air to get us going! Do your fucking job on the pitch an we'll do our job in the stands but don't ever turf that shit out and have the cheek to throw your arms about at the fans. That's fuckin embarrassing.

Crybabies? It's quite possible that the club's financial survival hinges on promotion to the PL. It's suddenly become apparent that we are currently in the process of being overtaken by Boro for 2nd, and the teams that we are potentially going to meet over two legs in the play offs are making relatively easy work of us.

It's almost like we are impervious to any form of criticism and if people rightly criticise bad performance we get threads like this. Frankly its pathetic, the performances in the league lately haven't been great and even some of the wins have been relatively poor performances on the whole.

We had a double figure lead and its now down to 4... worrying about abject performances is perfectly acceptable. Wednesday is now a must win game, even more so than it was before Blackburn.

Yesterday there was multiple players well below their best. Egan can't deal with any form of combative striker, Bogle was excessively poor and the less said about Lowe the better and that's just a few players I could mention. 2 games in a row we've conceded very poor goals on the counter, losing possession high... we need to be better if we are going to beat Boro to 2nd.

The club had the chance to stop the criticism aimed at it by just playing well once in every two or three games, but No.

As the OP of the 'Embarrassing" thread which I assume this thread is in reaction too.. I'll say this:

In the past I've been critical on occasions when we've won and also complimentary on occasions to performances even when we've lost.

In fact even at halftime against Blackburn I suggested we were creating plenty of chances but conceded a sloppy goal.

However that 2nd half we imploded and were running around like headless chickens making Blackburn look like prime Barcelona of the early 2000s whilst we were unable to hold onto the ball for more than a couple passes.

It was an embarrassing 2nd half display and tbh I'm sure Hecky and the lads would agree it wasn't good enough tbh

Sadly some people on here think that because we've ground out a gap getting into 2nd that players are now godlike and immune from criticism no matter what they do from here on in for the rest of the season.

Bit of a loser mentality on here. Seems losing to all your promotion rivals in 3 of the last 4 games is just one of those things.

I'd personally like to think we're in second because we're better than them, and if so, then we have got to point fingers about the current run of form.

I would say that the general consensus venting disapproval weighs a great deal more than your goody goody attitude at the minute...

Crybabies, bedwetters, call en what you want. The majority are right in their opinion that it isn't good enough, whether you agree or not.

The starting XI today wasnt that of a promotion chasing team, it was negative and set up against all of the strengths that the squad holds. We are a free flowing, attacking team....we aren't equipped to sit back and defend. It's not how our players play. We defend from the front.....

To belittle fans for not having the same rose tinted opinion as you quite frankly makes you come across as a bit of a dick. The majority sharing the same post match opinion can't be wrong can it.... I mean you wrote McAtee off as shit, when the majority told you he needed time to bed in.... how did thay work out again?
