Add Iliman to the "Don't Mess with Me" list, alongside Jack O'Connell, some nice sparring there and very quick right hand off the left jab!

Everton thinking 15m is enough according to the sun.
Double it and you are on your way for me.
(Still not enough)

Let's hope he's still here post Jan.
Everton 😂😂 the papers will write anything … the bidding starts at £35 mil for the best player in the championship and that’s for teams inside the top 10… Everton don’t stand a chance

Play for Everton in the Champ next season, or play for us in the PL? ....hmm, let me think.....

More chance of us signing DCL from them next season if current form for both clubs continue.

Is that just for 1 leg??🤣

Put it this way if we sell him for that sort of money you know we’re in the shit!!

Or to play devil's advocate, go into Feb getting paid £80k/week or stick on his current salary (£<5k/week??). What do your reckon his agents would prefer to do?

22 Million bid from Everton according to Nixon.
That will test them & is a decent bid with 18 months left. I don’t think it’s the right move for him though or us. Promotion out weighs this offer

Worrying thing for me is if it’s £22m now we’ve got 10 days of the window left. It could get towards £30m by then & he’ll go

If its true that the Prince has gone AWOL and the 22 million bid is true then this is worrying. Reckon I'm gunna bury my head in the sand till Feb. See you later lads 🫡

That is a potential amount of money that could be accepted.
Not for me but the club might?

Fingers crossed it isn't.
I’d say once you’re at £25m the stability of the club financially comes into consideration. Promotion is a gamble albeit 75/25 at this stage but still a gamble

To be honest.... from this position we could get promoted without him especially if the fee was reinvested. Could get 3 good players

But..... we'd have far less chance of staying up

Fuck that, don’t sell. We are just about there! If we sell when we are this close to promotion then the club can go and get fucked.

He'd be selling himself short moving to Everton, and robbing himself of a major achievement this season

Even financially I'd like to think he's potentially only months away from us offering a similar wage to what Everton could offer now

I think the whole point of the decision to sell at this crucial point means the fee would certainly not be reinvested

Yes there might be a signing, but potentially owing money to whoever means a forced sale to settle the debt(s) and if there’s a few bob left over then so be it

One other thing, as I mentioned in the other post, I wonder if the potential new owner has a say in all this? Would he want one of his assets leaving and potentially threaten the excellent chance we have of getting to the promised land and raking in a potential £200m? I don’t know as this is a unique situation the club finds itself in?

I definitely do not want him to go at any price but £30m , spend £10-£12m on Gyokores and use the rest to keep us steady might not be the worst thing to happen , just can’t see the second bit happening unfortunately!
As ever UTB !

Just short of a fee preventing us from going into administration or being ridiculously high, it would take a monumental amount of stupidity from SUFC to agree to sell him now when we are so many points clear of the chasing pack and looking almost certain to get promotion in 3 months time and vast riches for the club. Especially when you consider the lad would still have a number of admirers in to the summer anyway and we could always sell them if necessary.

I would say this is probably a non starter but after we sold Deane and Fjortoft on the same day when in the top two all those years back then it wouldn't be the first example of stupidity shown by SUFC if Ndiaye was to be sold. Let's hope this board (if we really have one at this time) are a bit more sensible.

Problem Everton have is same as Tottenham a few years ago. Until they move to new ground they don't have cash to buy new players. Tottenham had a strong enough squad though to maintain a decent Premier League position and so maintain some income. Everton don't. They need to be finishing top 10 so to finish bottom 6, and even worse if relegated, they will never find £22 million in this window.

If the offer gets to £25-£30m then you have a dilemma imho . We could then try for Gyokores for say £12m and pump the other £13m into the club coffers . Unfortunately as the money does not come as a lump some I can’t see any being re invested so we would probably just be one very good player down by the end of the window. If the takeover is close and genuine I’d be tempted to say no !
As ever UTB !
