Apparently we get 20% of the 10% that Marseille get on any profit over the £14 million that Everton paid for him. So circa £1 million for us£65m oh for 1% of that
We also get a cut for him being with us as a young lad. Exeter City explained it re Watkins going to Saudi yesterdayApparently we get 20% of the 10% that Marseille get on any profit over the £14 million that Everton paid for him. So circa £1 million for us
Because he's just a mercenary going wherever the money is, he'd have gone to Saudi if that was where the money took him.Of all teams why does he have to go to Man City. They will absolutely stifle him just like Jack Grealish
I don't believe Ndiaye is a 'mercenary', so to speak. Yes, money will come into it - as it would we any sane person, but you can see he loves to play. Perhaps Maresca will allow him more freedom than Pep would.Because he's just a mercenary going wherever the money is, he'd have gone to Saudi if that was where the money took him.
He got his dream move out of the way, now he can just take the cash, bag a medal or two if any are on offer, then move on to the next payday, whether he ever gets remotely near fulfilling his potential isn't really important.
He's got a big family, 3 kids and 7 sisters so life changing move for the lot of them.I don't believe Ndiaye is a 'mercenary', so to speak. Yes, money will come into it - as it would we any sane person, but you can see he loves to play. Perhaps Maresca will allow him more freedom than Pep would.
Didn't he turn down a move to Saudi this summer...Because he's just a mercenary going wherever the money is, he'd have gone to Saudi if that was where the money took him.

Even ten years on the average £60k PW salary is enough to set a family up for life. Circa £12-15m after tax. Absolutely plenty. He's got a big family, 3 kids and 7 sisters so life changing move for the lot of them.
For a minute there I thought we might be re-signing yet another ex-player.
This lot we’ve got now almost makes me yearn for the days of Terry Robinson…And it's all down to shit ownership that show no ambition. We have had it for ever and a day, we just have never had smart owners.
Great business people don't make smart football investors.
If only we had a Tony Bloom.
Like the majority of players thenBecause he's just a mercenary going wherever the money is, he'd have gone to Saudi if that was where the money took him.

Good luck to him, just hope he gets some minutes
Marseille are complete idiots for somehow losing money on him

It’s because people are lazy and don’t pay attention to championship players unless they are already in a big club’s system and on loan. I remember that season lots of chatter about Diallo being the best player in the league lol.I still struggle to understand why there wasn't a bidding war for him the year we went up.
He was absolutely outstanding in the Championship that season and the only offer on the table was £14m from Marseille. I thought we'd be looking at near double that from Brentford / Palace / Brighton etc.. their loss.
Nonsense.Because he's just a mercenary going wherever the money is, he'd have gone to Saudi if that was where the money took him.

What rubbish mercenary my arseBecause he's just a mercenary going wherever the money is, he'd have gone to Saudi if that was where the money took him.

I would think that in today’s footballing terms, signing for City counts as fulfilling your potential! There isn’t much higher he can go really, maybe Madrid and Barcelona, and he is now in that echelon if he was to do it. Good luck to him I say, it’s a pity we didn’t benefit financially, but I am happy to say I saw him play for us, some fantastic memories.Because he's just a mercenary going wherever the money is, he'd have gone to Saudi if that was where the money took him.

Fair play to the previous owners - what a deal we negotiated there. So thankful we're pocketing an extra sell-on fee for an absolute once-in-a-generation player.Apparently we get 20% of the 10% that Marseille get on any profit over the £14 million that Everton paid for him. We didn't have a say in it. We offered him a good contract but he wanted to go to his boyhood club. You can't pin that one on either Wilder or the club.If we hadn't have sold him when we went up, the club would have been worth £20m less last year.
The Americans could have paid up and we wouldn't be at risk of a 12 point deduction.
Selling Ndiaye therefore didn't just surrender our place in the Premier League, but sent us to League One.
