I always behave, just mainly badly. Mrs shoreham says it's a mid-life crisis.:D

I'll let you know if I get one when I get there.

Ifill was on Football Heaven and came across very well with no malice at all.

Said he enjoyed his time here, thinks we will stay up and thought our youngster will do very well eg Squiiny and Law.

He thanked Warnock for letting him go and being straight with him.

Hope he finds his form and thirst......when he does he's a top player.

Agreed Silverofx when he is on fire you know about it can be a brilliant player on his day! A matchwinner at times

18 goals he contributed in last season yet still got stick from the usual bramall lane muppits.

Top player, should have been given a chance this season.

Only problem is Sharpy, you have to show the same desire in the reserves and training......he certainly didn't in the reserves. He was worse than the players against Swansea when I saw him. A pity but true.

Perhaps he wanted the move back south?

Good luck to him anyway and I agree a major contribution last season and a top player on his day.

I think a very young family may have contributed towards his desire for move back South. If he was feeling that way, and there are strong suggestions he was, that may have had a direct affect on him not performing. Good luck to him seems to be a great fella

He's shown more humility (I think Sharpy's saying this too) than a lot of Blades fans have.

Danny Webber, 12 starts this season.

I agree.....he's not doing it is he.

He has scored 3 goals though....?

Still not convinced though......would Nade, Ifill or Kabbs have done better? Who knows?

Trouble is unless they show the the desire, fight, whatever needs to be shown they will not be picked.

I do critisise players often during a match but I will not crucify them on an internet forum.

I don't boo either.

Those 12 starts, believe it or not, have included more apparent desire and usefulness than Ifills reserve appearances.

I think Ifill needed the move back down south. Pity, but given the circumstances it's the best for both parties I think.

Good signing in my opinion. Leeds mate of mine says he was their best assett.

good luck to him, scored some crucial goals for us last season, thanks mate

The frustrating thing with Kabba is that he's been given scraps of 1st team involvement (like coming on against Newcastle, doing nothing wrong, getting a knock and being subbed, and never playing for us again) but nowhere near the chance that Webber has been given. It's all good and well saying players who look disinterested in the reserves should be shipped out but that's not 100% airtight.

Some players (like Kabba and maybe Ifill but I'm more convinced with Kabba) reach top form almost purely through confidence. Certainly in Kabba's case he is cocky, arrogant and loves being the centre of attention. Nothing will dent his confidence and form like a stint in the reserves. I suppose this is the polar opposite of a player like Tonge where a stint in reserves makes him buck his ideas up and can actually improve his form.

Good luck to Ifill. He's a smart bloke, has tonnes of ability, with a young kid (wasn't his last goal for us on the day of his kid's birth? Not sure about this, stattos.) and I don't think we're right for him.

All true about Kabba/Webber but it's too late to do anything about it now, unless nobody comes in for him this month.

Over the past 9 months Neil has obviously thought Webber could offer more to the team. In the Premiership where every point and every goal is crucial that becomes even more important, as we can't afford to give Kabba 5 games to get his form back. It may be right what you say about his confidence but I'm sure Kabba knows that he's got to try and grab any small chance he gets.
Admittedly, Webber hasn't done much but he has scored 3 vital goals that have helped to get us 7 points. Not saying that Kabba wouldn't have done the same but obviously Neil thinks he wouldn't.

Have I just waffled on for 2 minutes??

I just think we are all frustrated knowing that Kabba has the ability to be a great player.

Threads merged and there'll be smacked bums if there's any more tomfoolery :D
