If you knew it would get rid of Blackwell.......

Excellent. That's the first time i've been described as self-rightous.

a) My original post, i believe, related to what i believe Blades fans are all about. Getting behind the team and making a difference. Which is what made me fall in love with this club, back in the 80's. To be attacked for that, just shows how our fan base has changed, and why the number of boo boys at games has increased.

b)I don't deny anyone an opinion on anything to do with United, that's our right as fans, and forums like this are the place to do it.

c) Blackwell is far from god, and i don't believe i stated that as so. Things aren't going right clearly, and i believe i stated that i would personally give him 6 games, with a fitter squad, before jumping off the fence to whichever side. This is only my opnion, anyone else has a right to agree or disagree.

c) In my oipnion, you support the club to win, not to lose, no matter what the situation is. It seems that plenty of posters would rather see us lose so that their rants on internet forums can be justified.

As someone else said on another post, Grecian2000?, this is a very sorry state of affairs, when supporters would see their team lose to get someone the sack.

The only thing that Blackwell getting sacked would solve is the number of repeated inane posts like this around the same old subject, followed up by vitriol just because you don't agree.

By all means disagree, thats fine. My opnion is that anyone who wishes that 'we get well and truly hammered' is going way over the top. Fair enough maybe to say he's not a Blade was harsh, i'll admit to that. But that viewpoint in itself just goes to show how fans think these days compared to what fans used to be like.

Is this another result of the Sky Culture. The success within a month mentality that exists throughout football these days?

Finally, if being attacked in the way you did for what i said is going to be main stay of the forum from now on, i may have to take a sabbatical like Silverfox did. If you thought that to question the guy's commitment was wrong then state that without getting personal and aggressive. May i suggest something like...'C'mon Pal. That was a bit harsh. He may want us to lose, but to suggest he's not a blade was out of order'. A response such as that would have been far more constructive, do you not think? You're probably a nice bloke, but i just think the current divide between fans regarding our current plight is creating a lot of tension, and this is genuine evidence of that.

Hope that puts a seal on things. Bring on Peterborough! UTB

On point a. I didn't attack you for getting behind the club=. I attacked you for belittling someones opinion in the way you did. For (seemingly) arrogantly claiming someone was less of a fan than you because he didn't share your opinion.

On you 2nd pint c. Not at all. Some of us want Blackwell out because we think he is taking us down the swanny. We think he has taken us as far as he can and that's why we'd sooner lose and have him sacked. You misunderstand Soton. I'd be happy as a pig in shit if Blackwell turned us round, took us to the premiership and kept us there. I'd accept that I was wrong. I'd kiss Duncans feet, buy Swiss Blade drinks for the night and have a picture of KB up in my living room if that happened. However, in my mind i'm 100% certain that he will not do this. hence I want him out. Simple as that!

Following on from that point (your point above in Italics). Yes it's a sorry state of affairs. A sorry state of affairs that Blackwell has got us into. It's nothing to do with Sky tv, it's the fact that (again IMO and many other) KB is a clown and we want him out.

As for your final point. I apologise if I came across agressive. I can see you apologised to chips and cake and hence you see your comments were out of order. Hence I will admit that ine were. It would upset me if you felt like you had to take a break from the forum because of my comments. You should not be subjected to abuse no matter how 'awful' :p your opinions are, so i'm sorry.

Would you take a defeat this weekend? More to the point do you actually want us to lose this weekend? Or would you prefer to see us win and start to climb the table even though it may mean hanging on to him through the transfer windown and to the end of the season?

I never want to see us lose.

I want Blackwell out and think we're only going downwards whilst he stays here. But, I would much rather see us win and start climbing the table (and be proved wrong) rather than keep losing and get rid of him.

I never want us to loose. But cant see were the next win will come from. If we loose to the dross that is Peterboro then i hope Blackwell would do the decent thing. However, i dont think he would.

this reminds me of the last time i managed to get to the lane.

on the ways down for the Cardiff match, I overheard two 50+ year old blokes muttering about things United, then i heard the most stupid and ridiculous statement i have read regarding United;

"They need a win today don't they, its not been going too well...." "Yeah they do, but i hope they get beat" "why would you want that?!" "well.... to get rid o' Blackwell"

Its one of the only times i've felt like telling another 'Blade' to f*ck off and not bother going to the Lane

With new light that we have a cnew cheif exec who's plannign to spend money in January I have to say this slightly changes my views about Saturday. I'll happily take defeat if it gets rid of him. I dread to think of the damage that could be done if that clown is given some money to spend in January!?

Another fecking clapper getting upset because I don't think Blackwell is Jesus

i think you are confusing clapper with blade and i couldnt care less if you like blackwell or not (dont care for him much myself)

its your happily wanting us to lose comment that gets my back up

only 1 kind of person ever wants united to lose and they all worship at the altar of oink when we play away

Think your comments are way off, but I'll ignore them as I was being purely pedantic.

I stand by my comment of i'd be happy if we lost IF Blackwell got sacked. I'm 100% sure that he won't take this club forward and hence don't want him at the club. It's not about being less of a Blade, being a pig or whatever .... it's just seeing the bigger picture.

Relax Ollessendro. Didn't really get upset, did he? No need to throw cheap names at him.

I am relaxed. I'm just winding him up. He should know from my other threads that this 'clapper' stuff is tongue in cheek and I'm just having a bit of a laugh.

I am going to keep my trap shut about KB issues for now any road.

If that's the case then fair enough, it's just that labelling other posters with names such as "another fecking clapper" might discourage others from voicing their opinions. :)

Judge, no offence when I called you a clapper, I was just mucking around.

I've been a Blade home and away for over 45 years. My commitment and credentials are unassailable. It's precisely because I care so much about our club that my answer is a resounding Yes I would want us to lose the game that would seal Blacko the Clown's fate. The rewards that would follow from his replacement by a proper manager (Coppell for me) would far exceed the transient loss of 3 points.

the rewards of getting gary speed or peter reid you mean

Always want the Blades to win and I hope we hammer posh tommorow!!! Not a Blackwell fan either but always want Utd to get the 3pts!

i dont want unied to lose but they is a saying somethink bad has to happen to let somethink better to happen. We lose we get rid of blackwell better for us blades hopefully. So hard to pick it had to be lose if blackwell was 100% gonna lose his job.
