Who would you choose? For me it'd have to be Clayton Donaldson, hes a gifted player, who could get some assists and goals in a Blades shirt provided he receives the right deliveries..

The genie of the lamp!! OOps sorry, you said realistic.

Nobody, but that wouldn't matter as I wouldn't have sold Blackman.

Hey sits, Toby Foster was talking about the famous twitter 'debate' he had with you this morning!

My missus told me ,he spun it though didnt he ,I never abused him or complained . He blocked me so I have no right of reply but hardly surprising ,thats how he 'wins' debates as a BBC journalist. He and 'hard man' Walker really do love themselves dont they ,a view not entirely shared at the BBC according to the guys who work on Look North.

Yes totally spun it, I know from experience of him sending not quite as bad bit still arrogantly abusive twitter responses what a tit he is!

He's a good compere at the Lescar Comedy Club. :)

Perhaps he should stick to doing that. He certainly gets on my nerves when I happen to stumble across Radio Sheffield in the morning. Him and Walker think of themselves as a new comedy duo.

A realistic signing maybe Tom Pope, Clayton Donaldson and I genuinely thought Bradley WP was a realistic target til Wilson poo pooed it earlier. I really cannot think of anyone else and I am hoping Murphy saves us if we don't sign anyone else. I do think Murphy was signed because we knew Blackman was going as annoying as it is to admit.

I think you may be right....and with Miller fit it wouldn't look so bad.....I've always liked Nardiello and I think he would score goals at this level (not ideal but realistic )

Jamie Murphy has played 3? Maybe 4 games, if he'd have scored say 6 goals in them 4 games, nobody would care about Blackman going, United ites getting worried because our top scorer is going, 6 of the 14 goals Blackman scored were Penalties, his record without Penalties doesn't look as good, and the top scorer we have sold was playing in an unlikely to score again position, as a winger, so probably wouldn't have added many more excluding Penalties.

Nardiello always scores goals in League 1 and 2. He has just become a journey man through injuries it seems.

If Miller was fit I don't think Id be too bothered that we sold Blackman BUT the fact is Miller is out for a long time and the club really haven't prepared at all (as usual) for this kind of situation.

Injuries happen and players get sold/want to go all the time yet Sheffield United are lastminute.com in their decisions.

Well we've no chance of moving Blackman back to a striking role now, have we. Much too early to judge Murphy, but if you had to it would be a resounding "Meh". So the best we can do is not get remotely excited.

The general feeling is that we were poor before the transfer window, and we'll be even poorer after it. Not what any of us were hoping for, in England's third division.

"Louis Saha released by Sunderland. Black Cats chief executive Margaret Byrne said in a statement: "We wish Louis all the very best for the future and thank him for his contribution to Sunderland."

Ahhh...... now it makes sense ! It must be my turn with Charlize Theron.

Why am I still watching SkySports News -- stop it stop it stop it

just thinking about Charlize Theron has brought a smile to my face:)
