It's not a simple case of 'cup semi > play off semi'.

To beat the Forest game there's a lot to contend with: 2-0 down, forcing extra time, "number four, Des Walker!" and of course "OH MY GOD!!". Also winning the tie was a reasonable expectation and the manner in which we did it was definitely true to the team and the season so it could be enjoyed immediately. I think if we made a cup final it would take weeks to sink in.
