Amongst all the hysteria of huge win last night and putting some daylight between us and West Brom it dawned on me.
We are now 13 points clear of 7th!

Even by Sheffield United’s standards that would take a catastrophic run of results for us to not finish in the playoffs as a minimum.

Fantastic that we seem to be in with a great shot of promotion whatever happens. Also yes we are shite in the playoffs, but everything just feels different under Wilder, gets us up for the big games.

Also I think we are now 3 points of last season’s final points total with 12 games to go! Incredible really.

I'd agree Rodders. More so than the semis.
The other teams are well capable of raising their games significantly for 2 such important games, plus the unpredictability/rub of the green in those games.
Previously, Swindon at home, Yeovil away are good examples.

Everybody has to get their heads around being in the play offs.

We would've all taken it at the start, it's a good achievement on its own and we're still more likely to finish in them than in the top 2.

We can't be going into the play offs on a downer, or with a defeatist attitude.

The last 2 games cemented the fact that this team is more than capable of winning the play offs.

That gap is looking excellent and you cannot see us dropping out the top 6 with CW in charge
having said that teams in 15th/ 16th are still getting a play off spot so we need to keep on our toes !

Even if we loose a game I just cannot see anything other that coming back stronger for it , the team and management are just fantastic


Absolutely incredible season whatever happens, CW is a genius and all that's left to do is turn water into peroni for the end of the season party!
