Massively premature I know but might as well keep the FA Cup dream alive.

The ticket prices have remained exactly the same for all participants for the last few years and they were priced at £60, £50, £40 and £30 so that is most likely how much it would be for those interested. From memory that is cheaper than the play off final where I think it started at £34.00 and went up to near £90.00

I am not sure how it will work out this year but the last couple of seasons fans of the clubs lucky enough to reach that stage of the competition were allocated between 31,000 and 32,000 tickets each, this includes the big boys eg Chelski and Liverpool. The other near 1/3 or 27,000 go to all of the corporate partners etc.

Last year the Millwall vs Wigan game didn't sell out, in fact 15,000 empty seats remained so the FA took the unusual step of opening up 6,000 tickets for the neutral. Hmm so the pigs might get their day at wembley after all :D.

I'm a killjoy, I know - but it won't be dream semi for me, if we got there. I fucking hate the place and everything it represents. I want to get there, because it means defeating the pork, but not for the sake of a Wembley semi. A final would be worthwhile, and what Wembley (and all its' plasticness) is for, but the semi is just a means of getting the oiks to pay for an overpriced concrete millstone around the FA's neck.

Personally, I'd love to get to the semi-final of the FA Cup. It's at Wembley so that's already an automatic loss if we manage to get there but come on, looking at our situation in our shite league it's pretty special and I wouldn't mind queuing for the usual 4 hours for a ticket. :)

Wembley is a $hit hole. The stadium is impressive, but the location and surrounding area is a dump.

£4/£5 for me and the boy to get two bottles of water in that heat last time was a joke. 8ollocks to Wembley.

Agreed. When we played the pigs there in the semi it's because we knew it'd be a sell out and wembley was the only ground which could hold over 60,000 at the time.

Blades or pigs v Wigan or hull? What's wrong with old Trafford or Man city's ground? Save wembley for the final if we must. I'd rather play at the millennium anyway.

While you're absolutely right, the FA need to get every game they can played at Wembley to try to pay off the vast cost of building the place, so it isn't going to change any time soon.

I would only be able to go once this season so would wait for the final. I know that means I would have missed us actually winning a big game but never mind.

Agree with a couple of the posts above. Wembley is situated in a shithole of an area. It should only be for the finals, but because the FA are still trying ot pay it off, us mugs have to go there for Semi's as well! What happened to using Old Trafford and Villa Park!
Would much prefer the Millennium Stadium, perfect location and cracking stadium.

What's the area got to do with it.
Is S2 Wimbledon?

So many bloody whiners on here. If we get there, I'll take the weekend off. My girlfriend lives down there so I get free accommodation. The cool kids drink in the centre then make their way out to Wembley. Just shut up and go to the bloody semi-final.

I agree

If do get to the semis, Sheffield united might have to provide a lot of coaches because one of the semis is normally on Sunday at a dreadful time of 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) But every year they normally have a problem because the game is so late the last train back up north is before the final whistle. Thank God I live in London;).

I've never been to a cup semi final before so I'll be a mug and cough up for London prices while not receiving a London wage.

Then if the unthinkable happens and we make it to a final then I would not miss that for anything.

Is there anyone still living that witnessed Sheffield United in a major cup final?

Agree re the comments about the Millennium Stadium. Much better stadium in a much better location.

I serously doubt the FA is so skint that they must play every semi final at Wembley for the next 50 years. Whatever happened to listening to the fans? If they are so desparate for the dosh, play it at Old Trafford but allocate the proceeds to the construction debt.

well said mate, I thought I was back on Bladesmad reading this thread, what a load of whingers. Just get the train to St Pancake or Kings Cross, get the tube to Camden and have a party, then get from Camden to the Globe on Baker Street and top up, then off to wembley, thats better than Manchester, Cardiff, or Villa area.

It is an awful area with literally nothing to do.

What exactly do you want to do? theres the football to watch which is what you there for!! then theres Harrow High ~Street if you want a bevvy, or anywhere in london with Wembley accessible via the tube, nowt to do, what do you want a McDonalds, a cyber cafe, or a feckin creche.
