If Wolves, Fulham and Villa go up, I would say that we are at least as good as all the remaining teams in the Championship. So who would we want to see relegated from the Premier League? Sunderland and Hull City have shown that even with Parachute Payments there is no guarantee that you will hold your own a league lower.
I would say West Brom are a poor side whose time is up in the Premier League, Huddersfield Town are making a good fight of staying up, but lose a couple of their star players and with their momentum gone may not maintain their spirit for next season. The third choice is more difficult, but I would go for Swansea City. Carlos struggles in his second season usually, their fans have inflated expectations and would soon show impatience if they did not make an immediate impact.

Good shouts on them three....

Hudds manager would be off... and take his Germans with him.

Carlos can’t deal with pressure as we know...... especially against us.

West Brom we’re always a yo yo side... with big heads.

Stranger things have happened but I think West Brom will struggle to survive from where they are so the question is which 2 teams do we want to drop with them........

I think Stoke have had enough time in the Premier League so I'll pick them to finish 2nd from bottom.

The last relegation spot.....hmmmm......well it would just be too perfect if West Ham got relegated, possibly by a single goal difference :D

Yes I would laugh if West Ham went down, but no it would be a distraction and, like Newcastle, if they got off to a good start with the fans behind them they should be in a strong position for promotion. When relegated previously they have made an immediate return.
I think Stoke City would go straight back up, they have been well run financially and should have the resources to invest in strengthening their squad.

I'd go for West Brom, Huddersfield & West Ham.

West Brom are in serious trouble generally. They don't look to have sufficient on their books to get out of trouble this season, and when you look at the squad, it would need serious rebuilding to get it into a functioning championship team capable of getting promoted. Also the managerial situation isn't straightforward. It would take a lot of luck & money to get them to being a top 3 side, and they'd probably become a Derby/Forest type team over the long term. I'd add that a relegated WBA would be a team that i'd fear losing CW to.

I don't think Huddersfield would bounce back if they got relegated and would possibly drop further in the course of the next 3 years. Same comment re CW as above.

West Ham, because I dislike them, and it's about time they took their medicine.

Everton, West Ham and West Brom, the poorest sides I’ve seen in the Premier league this season.

But don’t be surprised if Everton and West Ham survive, football being ran by money.

I think, more importantly, who is going to come up. I think Shrewsbury, Blackburn and Wigan will be a lot stronger than the teams they'll replace.

I'd like WBA to go down, usually a good away day and the pub with the Tandoor (The Vine?) was top class the last time I went there.

Other than that, I'd like Palace and their wank ultras to go down, see if they still show up for Championship football. And West Ham of course.

You want the more established teams coming down as they're generally less well prepared for it. Huddersfield and Brighton will have had one eye on planning for 2018/19 in the Championship so they'd be in a better position next season than some of the dross that's been stinking out the top flight for years.

May as well stick Portman Road in the sat nav now:
West Brom need snookers from here but Pardew has already snapped his cue. They're in a world of trouble and don't look to have a coherent plan

In real danger:
Stoke - they're reliant on Shaqiri and Butland but I can't see either stopping around if they were relegated. Butland would bring in £30m+ though.
Southampton have been sleepwalking towards the drop all season. Insipid and totally unprepared for second tier life although the inevitable clearout would allow them to bring through some of their better prospects (eg Targett, who excelled for Fulham last night)
West Ham are an absolute shambles. The majority of the players evidently couldn't care less and Moyes is yesterday's man.
Crystal Palace are as reliant on Zaha as we were on Coutts. [We've got Chris Porter] Benteke is wank and there's no creativity at all in their squad

Should be safe:
Huddersfield's goal difference is awful and in a division as tight as the Premier League (well, the bottom end of it) that's a huge disadvantage. Wagner is probably the most tactically astute manager in the bottom half.
Newcastle's civil war is causing issues, as it the callow nature of their squad: I think they've lost more points from winning positions than any other side. Benitez isn't all he's cracked up to be but they should have enough.
Carlos seems to have galvanised Swansea who I expect to escape. Again. Their luck will run out eventually though as Sunderland showed.

From a “serves them right” perspective, West Brom for the constant fannying and last day escapes in the past, Stoke because it’s about time their hunchbacked hordes were knocked down a peg or two, and West Ham because they deserve to free fall all the way down the divisions with all the style and panache of an elephant falling down a lift shaft. With a huge splatter when they hit the bottom, the cheating, lying cockney twats.

WBA are nailed on . Quite close by aswell so they get a thumbs up from me for the drop .

Huddersfield is one that I'm really struggling with . I've got some very good friends who support them so I do tend to wish them all the very best of luck . But fuck it, it's a big bad world and i want what's best for us . They're down :)

Next up are Stoke for me . I didn't like the way they binned Pulis, they're localish so fuck them too . They're down :D

I think West Bromwich, Huddersfield and Palace will come down

Not that I like any other club so a curse on them all

Whoever comes down will still be a country mile ahead of everyone else In Terms of finances, so unless there is a chronic mismanagement they will be competitive. Even WBA, though shite now will sack Pardew and start again. They still have some decent players as a sound base.

If indeed the 3 form teams go up, Villa, Derby, Fulham....That still leaves Cardiff with Warnock who will strengthen, Derby will still be up there again, and you would expect Boro to also be stronger.

So, if we are to get better next season to be on a par with those at the top this season and next we really need to tighten up at the back and find some pace and quality up front, as well as some better quality in depth in midfield. Like it or not, that kind of instant fix is very very costly, as has been proven by our January buys who have had next to zero impact on the side.
So, truth is that unless we have a new benefactor and source of big money it will probably be more of the same but with perhaps a few better sourced loan players coming in to give us a chance. Frustrating yes....but that’s life as a blade.

West Ham, West Brom and Palace hopefully. Although never been to stoke and reckon it would be a decent away game

Assuming WBA are already fucked, from a personal standpoint I'll perm any two from Palace, Newcastle and Soton

You’ve lost me there. « 3 form teams, Villa, Derby, Fulham » to go up ? Am I missing something ?

Swansea and West Ham would be good, as I haven’t been to their new grounds yet.

Looks like West Brom are already down,so I’ll say them too.

My "ideal" choice for relegation would be ........

Dingles, Dirty L**ds Scum, and deluded Pig bas**rds .....;):D:D:D:D:D
