For the JTW...

How will this affect spending? Is it possible that the prospective new owners can still finance moves?

I ask because of the previous Dozy arrangement - allegedly pumped £10m in without any real estate actually changing hands. Obviously it's in the Americans best interests to get us promoted.

Considering most local journalists, Sky and the BBC have shot their bolts on it being done and dusted, I would be astonished if this isn't announced before 1st Jan, as we still have 6 full working days left. But I have been wrong often and will be again.

Even then, is there anything that says it needs to be done by 1st Jan? If the new owners have already put money aside and targets are lined up, we may be able to move quickly midway through or towards the end of the window anyway.

Not doubting it will go through, I just hope there is money available for JTW as the squad needs 2 or 3 quality additions to seal promotion.

We may have a real opportunity to become established if we can get over the line.

I've put money aside for a rolex, at the moment it stands at £2.80, we thought when a Saudi prince took us over we'd be in the running to buy any player, so just because they've allocated money doesn't mean we won't get outbid by notts county

I think the Prince will gamble on a loan to get some good targets in. If we go up any serious buyers would pay 200m surely.

Back page of The Star today has the big headline ' 11 YEAR HITCH' with a picture of our two prospective buyers. Inside story says 11th hour snag. I thought we had already had a few 11th hour snags. It is such a great paper!
