I'm not too sure anymore
Robson had got us playing like that

Blackwell was with us more

It is a shame because we know we have majorly underacheived this season, but it seems the players want to play now and it's a big shame that they couldn't be that consistent all season.

Oh well, late push for play offs, been nicer to have a few more wins under belt but it ain't over til we can't get enough points. As long as we keep winning we can't do no wrong.

At least the problem has been solved now anyway.

I don't see why we can't make the play-offs. Every season a club goes on a storming run towards then end and makes the pay-offs. Why can't it be us?? We deserve a bit of luck for once don't we?

We can hope although I think it is a little late.

How many of us (including me) stood by Robson, we were like ''it's ok, he can do fine, he just needs some more time'' and now we know hes just a shit manager :( lol

Really happy with Blackwell, except the Charlton match he's got the players playing much better.

And like we mentioned last night, Blackwell's player talk after that game was the turning point, and so far it's worked. :)

The players' fitness looks so much better too and that will be thanks to Riddle.

I don't think Riddle can have that much effect in such a short space of time, I think that he has helped but also they seem happier to be playing.

Not a chance I'm afraid, fitness doesn't come in such a short period of time.

It will be more down to "mental" fatigue.

It's well known that if you're down you won't do as much work (Delboy apart ;) )

When you're playing well and winning, then you will be doing more work.

The math is not with us but a good run would change the whole feel of the season.

Well, our next four games (Barnsley, PNE, Leicester, Wednesday) are all winnable. If we come out of them games unbeaten, who knows?

:)

I can't praise Mr Blackwell enough; i think he has got almost everything spot on since his appointment. He has said all of the right things, conducted himself honestly and openly, shown ambition when many could be resting on their laurells and most importantly he has gradually turned the performances around.

That last point is the most encouraging thing for me, the gradual improvement in the way our lads are playing. To me that suggests that this is no flash in the pan similar to the upturn in form of teams like Norwich atfer Roeders appointment.

All i wanted to see following Robsons departure (and before it to be fair) was some kind of improvement and now finally we are seeing that. If that trend continues to the end of the season i will be happy; regardless of whether we are in the play-off positions or not.

A good end for this year brings hope of a good beginning for next season. If you start with confidence then much becomes possible.

Even if we don't get into the playoffs but still finish strongly, it'll give us a good benchmark to build on over the summer. It will also allow us to bring a happier ending to what has been a mostly trying season.
