If Morgan was given the managers job tomorow!

Morgan & Unsworth .............................. prime examples of anti football !!

Hoof and inevitably dismal failure.

Hand it over to someone who knows what he's doing, to dismantle the whole lot and start building a football team.

Someone who'll keep his mouth shut when any and all assets are sold (if any can be found at the Lane these days). His 'we're only 2 or 3 players away' rhetoric is evidence of that. Anyone can see the squad needs a major overhaul to even have a tilt at the Play-offs next year.

So no to Gary Johnson and no to just about everyone else on the list and no to Chris Morgan.

Ever heard the phrase beggars can't be choosers. We are going to be so lucky to pick anyone decent. Not only are we in the third division but we have an OWNER (there you go Linz) who is constantly meddling with the strategy and team. We have no recent record of continuity either. In fact we are about the worst job in Football right now.

Whoever we get won't be high budget, they won't be high profile and the owner will make sure that they aren't going to rock the boat.

Andy Scott or Chris Wilder probably ticks all those boxes. Or whats Paul Rodgers doing these days?

Some pride, some passion, some commitment. Not much football.

Burn them.

I'd be done with the club. I'd check for results every now and then but in terms of actual support - both morale and financial - I'd be finished.

And on top of all that whoever we get will be able to achieve precisely bugger all because we're having to cut the wage bill again.

Surely there can't be too much left to cut though? If (as expected/hoped) players like Porter and Kitson are released then who in the team can be commanding the big wages? The vast majority of the squad are either products of our academy or have signed or renewed contracts while we have been in this division.

we need to spend money on one thing and one thing only right now
getting the right man at the helm

the rest will follow
