If I may....some constructive criticism for Cloughie

I would start with...

------------------- Howard ------------------
Alcock ---- Butler --- McGahey --Harris
------------------ Wallace --------------------- -------------------- Reed --------- Scougall
Davies ------------------------------ Murphy
----------------- Higdon ---------------------

If Wallace ever gets fit that is, if not then Basham would play. I seem to remember Coady having a slow start last season but got better the more he played and I think Basham could be the same.

They did not double team JCR

Their LB showed him on to his left peg

JCRs left peg is for standing on only

He ran in to another Bristol player having lost control of the ball. Times many.

1. Wilbraham's goal

That was his man....and you say he didn't lose one? Not sure if you were at the game pal.

In all fairness - I thought both Alcock and Magahey were decent today. For the first goal, whichever of the two CB missed the goalscorer my fingers point straight to either Harris (or Murphy?) for letting Little through. He just waltzed past and knocked an easy cross in. We were poor at both RB and LB today. Far too much that *should* have been easily dealt with just wasn't.

Agree with you on the latter part. It was actually Reed and Harris that failed to deal with Little, at least one of them should have put a foot in. Alcock was detailed to mark Baldock so Wilbraham was McGahey's man and it was a free header. Three at fault for me.

I think it was a decent finish from their man, but I agree we should have done better... on both goals too. Can see the defence is not used to playing together/lacks experience.

If we're going to be blaming anyone for the 1st surely it's Basham for stupidly losing it while everyone's on the attack (out of position)then trying to get back. Little should have been stopped by the defenders but the way Basham lost the ball was park football.
