So... although I don't want to admit it, we look like a team that are going down. And with it starts the murmours of discontent with Chris and that his days are numbered.

But let's be realistic and ask ourselves who'd be the one to run the gauntlet. Ask yourself who'd you want running the Blades if Mr Wilder decides to either resign or get the spanish archer?

A list of managers out of work at the moment includes the following..

Eddie Howe
Mauricio Pochettino
Marco Silva
Quique Sanchez Flores
Mark Hughes
Sam Allardyce
Nigel Pearson

Maybe one or 2 on that list are possible - the others are out of reach, meh or wouldn't touch with a barge pole - we have previous form with that.

Or alternatively, would you try to poach a manager from another club? Would you go abroad? Would you promote from within?

Let's have your thoughts and suggestions, because I'm certain that there are plenty of you with an opinion.

My opinion is keep him & people stop starting different threads on the same subject

Could you imagine the uproar if we sacked Wilder for Pearson.

In all seriousness I think there is a reason why most of them are still unemployed.

The Prince will appoint Van Winkle if Wilder leaves.
I agree. I was against Warnock going last time we were relegated as I think he would have got us back up especially with the money given to Robson. I'm the same this time if we go down. No idea what Van Winkle is like but we need to get straight back up not have a complete upheaval of the club. Wilder should stay.

Me.

Im not fuckin joking either.

The alignment in the gaffers thinking with that of my own footballing ethos was uncanny. Typified by 3:4:1:2 I was playing 25 years ago.

For TuftyBall read DronnieBall, save the overlapping CBs.

The current 2.0 version of TuftyBall is, bluntly, alien to me as I have no fucking idea why or where he is going with it.

Triangulation play patterns have been replaced with back to front football.

We have gone backwards at the top of the pitch, and spent a good chunk of change in so doing.

Our tempo has visibly decreased.

Our off the ball movement has gone a similar way. It’s non existent in certain quarters that leads to criticism from fans when we “fanny around” with sideways and backwards passes. Having FUCK ALL options in front of you will lead to this.

A back to basics, what we have done previously for 3.5 seasons would be a great start.

Whoever it would be, they’ll not last more than a season. Then League One looms.

Fuck sake, we won’t go back to League One if Wilder goes. Our natural level is Championship, there is no reason to think we’ll go below that level.

After all he’s done for us he deserves some loyalty. Id keep him for next season because I genuinely think that Covid has derailed his train. Regroup, get us going like were but if we were still playing like we are now and faltering in the Championship- Christmas would be bye bye time.

Be careful what you are wishing for!

Another bullshit thread! Why not comment on one of the other bullshit threads talking about the same shit! If anyone wanted any of these listed in front of Wilder then you need to get yourself checked out! Absolute madness!

Not many replies on this thread , is it because there is no one out there and available better than wilder
