If Bogle had scored an own goal I would have....

Bogle does have form for it:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Jayden Bogle own goal for Derby <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/whoops?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc^tfw">#whoops</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/dcfc?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc^tfw">#dcfc</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/boro?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc^tfw">#boro</a> <a href="https://t.co/cVz1nlqvLt">pic.twitter.com/cVz1nlqvLt</a></p>&mdash; Mr Geoff Peters (@mrgeoffpeters) <a href="">October 27, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Clearly the keeper’s fault🤣

Hate to break it to you, I watch it without crowd noise, he definitely did shout 😂😂

But hey ho, let’s use it as another stick to beat Ramsdale with after his first clean sheet and no mistakes

Let’s be clear, you don’t ‘hate’ to break it to us.

It’s not another stick to beat him with, don’t be so sensitive. It’s a thread about that specific incident.

he has no business coming for that because he’s never getting it. He’s at fault but it went wide so we all laugh about it (including Ramsdale!).

No you’re right, I don’t hate to break it to you. I like it when people talk utter bollocks so I can correct them.

If he doesn’t come for it, and it evades Bogle, their attacker is through on goal. Any half decent keeper in the world comes for it, and he’s 100% getting there.

Well if you’re hear to correct utter bollocks, address the “any half decent keeper comes for it.” There’s no way it’s going past Bogle and you can’t come chasing off your line in case it does. Madness.

But yep, you heard a shout on TV and Bogle, who’s 10 metres away in an empty ground, didn’t.

Whether there is a shout or not, he should not be coming off his line for a ball that’s going straight to our defender unless it’s high in the air.

And I’m not looking for a stick. I said in my post he’d been good until then and I have long defended Ramsdale.

I was watching with my son and at that moment I screamed
"WHAAAAAT THE...... HELL!!!!!!" (Child present, could have said a lot worse but was left almost speechless after "what the...")
Then I was left shaking for the next few minutes and feeling sick as my stomach did this big turn. What a relief that full time whistle was!!

I think if that would have gone in I was ready to turn it off, run outside and scream at the top of my lungs and just give up hope on the rest of the season and not bother watching anymore. I would never get over it. It would burn in my soul for eternity just as the pathetic play off final in 2003 has. Or Wigan at home 2006/7.

I worked with two blokes, a Bill and a Ted. Waited patiently 2 years for somebody to ask me if I'd seen either of them. Had two answers, me.
