Idiotic comments on the Kop tonight

After about two minutes I claimed that Fulham would definitely score.

I'm always bang on the mark me.

This really wound me up! Every game there are thousands moaning that we didn't shoot on sight at every opportunity. Then Leon does and got pelters! If only he knew when to shoot and when not to shoot eh, he might be the top scorer in the divison!

Not all one way. Mr Positive near me shouts "go on Biily son" "Go on Leon son " or whoever has the ball when we go forward. Every single time. Every single fucking time.

Although he did make a lot of people laugh when shouting at a player who's name on the back of his shirt went from shoulder to shoulder " aw come on, how can kids afford your name on their shirt"

I bet he's on here :)

Is the moaning coming from the new or 'returning fans' the ones who don't appreciate just how far we've come in the last 18 months, the ones who didn't witness the depths to which we'd sunk. If this is the case either shut up or keep away, we are far exceeding expectations and we've had some big injury issues to key players.

Do you fancy going on the BLUT for the Bristol City game, or if not that then the Bolton game?

Hopefully it will help the atmosphere but it shouldn't really have to come to that, this season of all seasons.
BLUT is a haven for Woodentops,so one fan reported on here last nite and he's coming back to the all singin all dancin all swearin Kop :D

I honestly don't understand why these people go to football matches, they clearly have limited understanding of the game. What possible enjoyment do they get from it?

Guy at side of me every time we pass it out from the back he goes get the “bloody thing forward, oh not like that”

Happy in their unhappiness? Ms Crab's Dad is a lot like that.

Just their opinions, but I admit it does sound a bit crazy to slate Duffy or anyone else at the moment for that matter. Heard similar things on the South when some people were getting over excited. No matter what anyone says or does there will always someone whinging about it, it's just a fact. I ignore them generally

Yeah I spotted his body language after the mistake for the 1st. Never recovered his confidence. Guess that's the difference with an experienced player. Stearman in perhaps on Saturday.

I've noticed when a player f*cks up Wilder plays them again to show confidence. The odd mistake doesn't bother him.

Some guy tweeted in Radio Sheffield and basically wants the whole team changing and somehow blamed Lundstram for the last two goals!

Old bloke in front of me somehow managed to blame Lundstram for all 3 first half goals

Carter Vickers makes too many mistakes
same with all young lads
brooks will go through the same
no substitute for experience and you have to make mistakes to learn how to eradicate them
been great in most games but wobbled after dropping a clanger early on .
only oldr players seem to forget mistakes instantly and move on
young ones need backing

Yeah he needs to play him again. If it happens again. He has a rest. Could have withdrawn him after the 2nd but that wouldn't have helped matters In the long run

Wonder if he blamed him for winning the ball back and setting up the sequence of events leading to our equaliser !!

Lundstrum did nothing wrong. Impossible to tell how much of Coutts we missed but with a few games Lundstrum will start to look more for the forward pass. Admittedly at times he was hesitant picking the pass, but that'll improve.

But I've read on here he needs 4/5 or 5/6 touches just to control the ball. From the same poster in the same post. A serious post at that.

They're a minority. Ignore 'em, whatever we achieve they won't be happy. Makes you wonder what they want?

Has anyone noticed just how well Duffy's been playing? As for Leon, well what else is there to add? Just happens to be on fire at the moment.
they're the type that want us to fail so they can be proven right, look on our highlights on YouTube theres loads of them calling blackman and CCV shit and shaky at best

Best thing I've read is 'Blackman wasn't to blame for any of the goals but should be dropped because you can't let 5 in"

I prefer to stay clear of this type of ignorance. They're not for listening, in fact it makes you wonder what exactly it is they attend matches for? If all it is is to moan and criticize then I can only hope they're a dying breed. I wonder if they take this bollocks throughout their everyday lives? They are boring, they offer nothing in the way of constructive criticism, and they certainly help no one other than repeat what they've said for as long as they've attended games at SUFC.

Was that me ? Shit if it was and probably the booze talking. His control is fine he just lacked the confidence IMO, on occasion, to move the ball quickly forward when a pass was on. Some cracking cross field balls, great tackling and was very safe with it. In time he'll start to back himself to find that forward pass. Coutts (can't compare I know but I will !) massively high on confidence, regular games and all that, backed himself to go for the quick forward passes. Lunny was under pressure last night trying to fill some unfillable boots and coped very well I thought !
