Idiotic comments on the Kop tonight

We've always had and always will have a fairly sizable minority of braindead cretins who come to the games, just wait until we lose a couple, they will be calling for Wilders head.

They are just that, a moronic minority.

Guy 3 rows behind us hammering Duffy non stop, before switching his abuse to Carruthers whilst shouting 1) FEED HIM! 2)SKIN HIM! 3)MAKE A FUCKING CHALLENGE! over and over again like he had some sort of 'Football Cliche Tourettes Syndrome'
Luckily he fucked off as soon as we conceded the 5th...Prick

The majority clapped em off at the end, myself included, people’s frustration come out in stupid ways, a bit like Billy’s when I thought he was going to head butt the Fulham player near H block. It’s just One if those games where everything they did worked.

So instead of letting him get back out on the pitch we are going to let him dwell on one bad back pass? And knock his confidence even more? yes he made a mistake for the first with a sloppy back pass but many professionals have done this before and he defiantly won't be the last player to ever do this. I think people forget he is still a very young lad just because of his size and strength, the lad is going to make some mistakes he is still learning as a player, to drop him I think is a massive mistake will totally knock his confidence and also for me was the man of the match at Burton so don't see why he should get dropped after one off performance? ccv will be thinking of that back pass right up to kick off on Saturday and will have annoyed him as much as it did any of us fans but it happens. Give the young lad a break.
Yeah give him a break.... we need to utlise our depth in players. Roation is not a bad thing and he will learn from this, honestly not playing a game or two will do him no harm either.
He was involed in their first 3 goals. I just don't want to see the lad sink.
Stearman in for at least a game or two imo.

after 20 minutes

"Duffy is shit had one Good game at Hillsboro"

Half time

On CCV "send him back in January he's useless"

After an hour.

"Wilders lost the plot with these subs"

15 minutes from the ebd

"O'Connell's overrated, can't defend"

I despair....

Fickle fuckwits who only ever see us at home and don't think about things too much.

Hope that covers it for you.

As I said for me this is the worst decision to make it totally drops his confidence and the longer he is made to sit on the bench and think about that, the back pass is going to effect him even more. Also as mentioned he has possibly his best game for us in the match before at Burton and for me was probably the man of the match so why should we drop him off one bad performance? And the other 2 goals are also debatable on who is at fault personally I think especially the 3rd if that was baldock or Freeman playing rwb I think that would have been dealt with but your aloud your opinion as everyone is, but it's down to wilder to make the call on if he plays or not now.

Sat on the south stand tonight and some tw*t in front of me when CCV went off started shouting shit and to fu*k off back to Tottenham... have no time for these dick heads, a young lad who's been excellent for us makes a few mistakes and these cretin who no absolute sod all about football pipe. If your going to be a complete prick stay at home, something special is happening at the lane we don't need your type.

as long as our lot put in 100% and never give up that's good enough for me. at the end the Fulham players where laid out they knew they'd had to battle to get the 3 points, they were exhausted.

Some people should fck off and moan at their missus or something. I hear it all the time..whinge fckin whinge..we have the best team in years and its still not enough for them. Jesus take a trip to dignitas and do us all a favour

I agree pal...It was much better when they all fooked off home on 75 minutes,

If you are the complete fuckwit who sat in Kop Row G, about seat 75-76 wearing a grey Help for Hero's sweatshirt tonight.... please, please don't go again.
You could be doing something you actually enjoy.
We had "gerit up front" numerous times
"Fuckin Leon Clarke is shit, he's always off-side. He dun't know rules".
"Tek im' ahhhrt, just bek is' fuckin' legs"
'What the fuck's Wilder doin' with this team"
...in addition to 80 minutes of totally brain-dead, moronic shit, that no-one agreed with or had any relation to actual football, let alone the brilliant stuff we've witnessed these last two season.
Everyone hates you and thinks you're a cunt. Which you are.
BTW. I was the one that was sat in front of you and yelled "thak fuck for that" when you announced your departure after 80 minutes in case you're wondering.

My apologies to everyone else.

I'd be fascinated to know more about some of these people. It's hard to believe we have specimens like these.

If they care enough to get wound up then that suggests they'd pay attention and have a basic awareness of what's happening at the club. But they obviously don't. It doesn't make sense.

It seems there's a desperate clamour to target players.Carter-Vickers is nineteen and has had one bad game in our rise to second. Blackman made one mistake and was written off.New players aren't given any grace to bed themselves into the team. Its a joke.

i wasnt chuffed with was the keeper dummying the strikers and the showboating at the back early on, that would have spurred me on as it probably did thier players.. after that, they took control in our final third, should we have shown a little respect there instead ?

Everybody was fine with ccv friday night when he passed sharp clean through to score.. maybe it'll focus him having a bad game and make him better..

CCV needs to be drop next game, had a truly shocking game today.
Hopefully just a one off but he had his head down too often when I looked at him tonight.
Duffy played well, don't know why anyone would have a go at him, same with Jack O'C
Subs were fine, Hanson did surprise me, CCV should have been subbed earlier.
Yeah I spotted his body language after the mistake for the 1st. Never recovered his confidence. Guess that's the difference with an experienced player. Stearman in perhaps on Saturday.

Amazes me the number of people who still don't know the offside rule and then proceed to get so worked up by what is a correct decision. I didn't think the ref got that much wrong decision wise just needed to stamp his mark on game time wasting wise. Also nice that bloke near me was calling for Wilder to "f***king use the U23s they'd be better than this shower of shite" when we went 5-2 down.

You're right about folks not knowing the offside rule - fans and officials alike. In the second half, during one of our attacks, the linesman signalled for offside against Billy Sharp and the ref gave it. Billy Sharp was definitely in an offside position - so that is technically correct. However, the ball wasn't coming to Sharp, it was coming to Clarke, who was clearly onside. The only situation that this could have been an offside decision is if Sharp's offside position was giving United some advantage during that attack, e.g. if he was blocking the goalkeeper's view or something like that. He wasn't. So in that situation the correct decision would have been to not give an offside against him.

The rules changed on offside about 6 or more years ago. At one time, if a player was offside, even though the ball wasn't coming to him, it would have been an offside decision. But it's only offside now if he is the one in play, or if he/his team is gaining some advantage from it.

It's long enough now since the rule changed so the referee and officials should really have caught up with it by now.

For what it's worth, I thought Clarke was a mile offside for his third goal.

"how did Fulham lose to Burton and Pigs both teams we have soundly beaten"

"take Fleck and Clarke out of the team and we'll look very ordinary"

"ive got a bet on 3-3 but i bet it ends up summat like 4-5"

Lundstram before he even played.

It must be the first time some of our posters have ever sat on the kop. The moaners have always been around, certainly in the 50+ years I've been going and probably since day dot. I think they vent their spleen at the players to compensate for being nagged to death at home or something. Do I agree with them? Do they surprise me? Do they bother me? The answers are no, no & no. However, they are part of the furniture at the Lane and I can't envisage it ever changing.

Yep, as long as I've been going, which is about 35 years. Even on the United video when we lost to Leeds, there's some bloke slagging us off. In a season when we were trying to do back to back promotions (and succeeded).

I think it's partly because it's something entirely out of the supporters' control. It's a feeling of helplessness that's similar to what it's like being a kid, when you have little control over your environment. So people revert to what they were like as kids, we scream 'it's not fair' and blame everybody else because we're not happy.

It would be more acceptable if the vocal support was consistently good but we can't even manage that.
Considering how well we're doing this season i think the home vocal support has been poor for most of the season.

I don't know what more the players can do. Most of the 1st half last night was played in silence.

Do you fancy going on the BLUT for the Bristol City game, or if not that then the Bolton game?

Hopefully it will help the atmosphere but it shouldn't really have to come to that, this season of all seasons.

My favourite was people moaning at Leon Clarke for having a shot from the edge of the box second half... The same who normally shout shoot as soon as we pass halfway, with 10 men blocking the path to goal.

Though some absolute knownowt not a million miles away was shouting at him to pass to the penalty spot just as he rifled in his second!

This really wound me up! Every game there are thousands moaning that we didn't shoot on sight at every opportunity. Then Leon does and got pelters! If only he knew when to shoot and when not to shoot eh, he might be the top scorer in the divison!
