I'm never going good to advocate throwing a flare or smoke bomb into the next stand. Frankly it's fucking ludicrous.

However the one thrown into their stand hit no one, more by luck than judgement. It hit a seat near the front and one of their fans picked it up and threw it back into the away end. I couldn't see whether it hit any Unitedites.

Their lot were a joke outside. Small band of degenerates. We walked past those giving it the big un from the park later on down the road. Scruffy couldn't smack their lips types. One of them was like Gumbo out of ID.

Aye, at the end of the away section near the Railway Stand a load of blokes who seemed to have been fighting on the concourse during half time appeared on the gangway, standing in people's road and threatening and swearing at anyone who looked annoyed. I saw one lad get a right smack in the face from some bastard wearing a flat cap, who then threatened another bloke with "Come on then" gestures.

They were definitely bullies, Luke. I don't know what the lad who got punched had done to deserve it. Nothing, probably.
