so andy pack wants suggestions as to how bramall lane can be improved so what would you suggest ?

mine are as follows -
- keep a one tiered kop maybe just extend it back into the rear car park (if we do get an increase in capacity)
- if the capacity isnt being increased maybe take out the supporting pilalrs so there is a better view for all on the kop
- get better facilities on the kop,i dont mean beer i mean better food stalls and more toilets (especially for the owmen)
- maybe get a screen either below or above the the new corner

possibly slightly biased towards improvements on kop but what are your suggestions

We definately need more food stands, there's no way you can get a half time pie before the teams come back out unless you skive off to the ques 5 minutes before half time which isn't really ideal as you might miss Jags scoring another 30 yard screamer or Hulse scoring the perfect overhead kick.

Make the kop a bit steeper and extend it back to Shoreham street with it linked up to both John street and The South (Laver, Global Windows, whatever you want to call it) and remove the side right side of the South stand so the kop can be heard where I sit :)
Also extending the South stand backwards into a 2 tier job would be cool.

Ques?

We speaking spanish here?

I read it as... they want to tell us what we liked and didn't like about the Emirates and CoM so they could incorporate the things we liked into any new developments at the Lane.

Signage: Can't miss Emirates from the tube station so not applicable for our trip. Sportcity signs were slighly hit and miss but the .pdf map was very handy.

Parking: Not applicable for Emirates as we got the train. Managed to park on the main road at CoM.

Facilities: Too expensive and nothing special at Emirates. Nice big TVs showing football, plenty of kiosks and two pinters meant CoM was a winner in my book.

Comfort & view: Emirates - seats are padded but not exactly comfortable. Steps were too shallow so it was difficult to see if you had a tall person in front. Plenty of leg room though. CoM - View from Row B was shite... couldn't see over the half way line. Could see over the man in front though which is always handy. Enough leg room but not loads.

Access and egress: Both had fancy swipey things... more trouble than they're worth I think. Takes ages to get off the stand after the match as usual... not much you can do about that. CoM would have been fine if it wasn't for the plod being stood in the way trying to get ALL Blades on to the coaches whether they came on them or not. Too many people leaving Emirates at once and heading for the same tube stations.

So out of that... keep the character of the ground. Look to lessen restrictions on main road parking on a Saturday. Make sure the Lane is signposted off EVERY main route into the City.. we're a Premiership club now. Make the new stand nice and steep to allow a good view and possibly have the first row of seats a few feet above pitch level to afford a better view. Introduce two pinters and make sure there are mirrors in the ladies bogs. Don't have swipey turnstiles... think about a park and ride bus system from outlying car parks.

sounds good to me.

maybe there should be something between the south stand and the kop just to neaten up the look of the ground, prefrably not a stand for me it would make the stadium look liek the new era of stadia and could loose bramall lanes charachter,on the other hand the atmosphere from the kop coul travel round in to te south stand and from the south into vramall lane end creating a more intimidating atmosphere for away players and fans :)

I def want a link between the Kop and South stand, it could make the atmosphere electric and keep all the noise in as much as possible.
The New corner on the Bramall lane stand has done just that.
Lets go for a Fenerbache like atmosphere :D

you just wanna hold hands with men and jump up and down :)

Think id agree with the Kop points about making it steeper, keeping it one tier but increasing it.

Better facilities there too.

and a corner filling in kop + S.S
